Good video about course management... I took the driver out of my bag for 2 rounds and scored better than with it so now I don't use a driver ...keep up the great work
I think the more important stats one should be considering is the carry distance one hits with each club, since I incorporated a launch monitor into my practice time determining each of my club's carry distance helps me improve on my game it prevents me from overshooting or undershoot the distance i need with each stroke. Helps me prevent from overestimating my capacity and ultimately prevents my ball from going out of bounds and going into hazzard that's infront of any green.
Might be persuaded towards getting one of these if my distances with clubs continue to get more consistent - gps will show distances to hazards, but my gps doesn’t usually consider the trees to be hazards, so unless they’re next to a bunker I’m left guessing! Thanks for another intelligent video. 😁
Totally agree, I binned my range finder, I ruffly know my club average distance and stick with that, definitely brought my score down and definitely stopped wasting time. And finally to add I brought a second hand Cleveland Smart sole chipper that I use 100 yards out and closer fantastic club highly recommend getting one
Always an education Simon, I've used the the laser range finder you sent me just for hazards as I think the gps (front middle back) is enough for my level of game at the minute. No slope on this one though 😢😢.
I've just bought a Milessy range finder or at least a good copy after discounts for £41 from Temu, as I'm going blind in one eye I'm finding it difficult to gauge distance without the aid of my GPS app on my watch. I bought the range finder mainly to give distances to hazards rather than distances to the flag so far I'm impressed with it
I use a little garmin g10 that goes in my pocket literally just use it for front or middle of green depending on what time of year and course conditions Don’t need much else, just easier now I’m old and eyesight going , middle of green will do me fine
Careful with the PF1 guys. Brought mine off Amazon and had it in the bag for three rounds. Nothing but issues with dodgy yardage. Reached out to Mileseey but never bothered replying so had to send back for full refund.
Hello mate, spoke to mileseey and they couldn’t find your enquiry. email me at sasgolfacademy@gmail.com, we’ll get you in touch with them as they take all feedback very seriously 👍
Crazy opinion..... front and back number + flag are important at any level. Yes hitting 142 instead of 141 or 143 isn't crazy important but 130 145 pin 160 back gives you a much better idea of distance needed and where the miss is
Thanks for watching guys! Let me know what you think of this one!
Gratuitous product placement of the Vice glove....

When I played off 8 no driver in the bag. Sad part as I have got older my driver now does not any further than my '3 wood when younger😢

Wouldn't swap my laser range finder for anything. It's crucial for my game.
