Is this standard cleaning ALL you will ever have to do? Will you ever have to completely take all the small parts out (all the way down to triggers and pins and such)? Is twice a year more than enough? Or as often as possible the best advice? Just bought my max-9 today, pick it up in two weeks.

You were cleaning the breechface wrong! Always clean or wipe it pointed downward to prevent debris and solvent from entering the firing pin channel.

Basic field strip and wipe will do it, polymer guns don’t need to be throughly clean.
How do you get the slide Rack off if you put it on before you installed the barrel
