I know being a 'food aesthetician' is a real job, the Japanese make excellent plastic models for their window displays etc but wow I feel I've been seriously catfished.
For real, even knowing this was somehow a shocker....I don't know why.
Japan not only does that but also composed entire dishes around aesthetics. Look up “moritsuke” it’s literally a form of art that is centered around food placement on a plate. It’s pretty damn cool
