Am i the only one who thinks the sweet spot mechanic for one shotting ships in this game can be a bit broken? Cause sometimes I’m spot on other times I only hit a CIWS
It's extremely inconsistent, you need to hit a part of the ship with no targets on it which is usually either the wings or just behind the cockpit but even then I've had shots just go through the ship or hit a target on the airship because of the railgun's huge hitbox.
@@clydemarshall8095 Yep, it just has to be an area of the ship with no targets on it. Hitting the wings of an airship can be unreliable though so I usually aim for the spot just behind the cockpit (like at 11:00 in the video).
So basically youre fighting the last strike fleet but instead the squadrons are using X-PF's and PW-MK1's as their last call, plus youre also fighting against the airships but mk III Anura Cruisers, Arcion Heavy Cruisers, Littoria Battlecruisers, and the S-class 205 Battleships Thats some one hectic boss battle fleet
I swear the large planes' and airships' physical presence is more dangerous than most of the enemies you face in Conquest. I finally beat it on PC a couple weeks ago, it's physically beyond the processing capabilities of my Xbox One X to play past level 20 or so. It was scary watching the little Steam framerate counter keep ticking down as the alert level kept ticking upward. Great flying!!
I wonder what the lore is behind conquest mode is it after the main campaign with the federation braking the peace or is it a version of the main campaign were cascadia were successful in kicking out the federation and its a more traditional war instead of the campaigns guerrilla style war
I like to think its some alternate universe where Monarch gets bored one day, ditches Hitman team and just takes a ragtag group of hired mercenaries to completely take over Cascadia for fun.
Federation: losing the war Also federation: haha crimson squadron go weeeee While that with hitman team: *BRRRRRRRRT* *BOOOOM* *WEEEEEEEEE SKBAYDHDUHSOSKSOJKEIFF* (that was suposed to be a railgun)
I did the exact same thing haha. In the 3 previous runs before this one I died because I crashed into an airship. It got to the point where once I got to the high alert missions, I'd spend more time focusing on my map to make sure I wasn't too close to airships than I did shooting down enemies. I'd recommend doing the same if you're aiming to complete conquest mode too. Make sure you're always clear of airships unless you're absolutely sure where they are (or you're trying to shoot it down).
Yeah going all the way to the final mission of conquest isn't really worth the effort unless you're looking for prestige points or want to fight the final boss. Once you get to around mission 30 with max alert level, most missions are just 15 min long air battles like the one shown in the video. It's pretty fun at first but starts to get boring when every mission plays out the same way.
@@Aldahe_ Here's hoping they'll add some variety like naval engagements and land battleships. Those assets were in the game, I wonder why they couldn't come up with a little more variety for such a roguelike gameplay mode. Even the achievement of Alert Level 30 isn't all too hard to achieve if you just put on the modifiers. They could have at least given an achievement for actually beating Conquest Mode rather. What a lackluster ending, but I'm close enough (3 missions left) to clearing it, so might as well...
That's it for end of conquest they said spoiler ....... Wait did monarch really continued collecting the money for sicario by conquering cascadia🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Not just any last boss that's task force 1. Okay they may seem not as bad of a threat than crimson but the way stardust was talking they seem to be deadly threat. Besides they got a PW MK1 on their side makes them even more powerful
I just crashed onto a carcass of an enemy airship on the 41st mission and so I'm watching this video trying to keep my will to live.

actually the naval target missiles can be used against airships and it can one shot them with the advantage of being a fire and forget missile
@@Aldahe_ So that's the secret? I thought that you had to hit some critical component like the cockpit to land the insta-kill.

@@Aldahe_ See, I thought it was the wings at first but then missed a few at close range so I thought it didn't work. Thanks for the tip.
Your rig must be a beast being able to have a stable frame rate with that many targets
Honestly, I wanna PLAY as the Airship, not fight them. Especially the Littoria-Class battlecruiser.
Me too!
Isn’t there a mod for that?

10:27 Fucking oof.
They got XPFs (cfa look alike) so not only they got pw mk1 & they got XPF damn are the task force 1 that dangerous than crimson & frost
I wish this had a multiplayer
you probs didnt notice this but the model for the railgun under the pw mk1 is missing
At least a new aircraft if you maneged to beat it oh well at least you can say iv done it
This makes are B7R look like a joke.
