After replacing the developer kit, it must be Reset the developer kit counter in the Service Tools menu for the replacement to be successful. This is not shown in the video!

Does the developer kit mean the combination of imaging drum and toner powder? My M72630dn was at first giving an error to replace the imaging drum. After replacing now it is showing the error "The developer unit is empty. Immediate user intervention is required to replace the unit. Call for service. Printing can still continue, all other machine services (if installed) are unaffected."
Is the piece same as in this clip? Didi you replaced the cylinder only or both parts? Because even if they are connected they come in separate boxes as separate parts. I would presume you changed both and maybe didn't did as in the clip to put the developer dust in.

Didn't you see the clip? The bottom thing with dust is the developer part and the upper thing with the cylinder, that's the drum.
