I play with B as my jump button, and for the past 45 minutes I've been holding b because thats what it said and it never occurred to me I just had to hold x when walking off the ledge
There's like 500 two-minute videos on how to do this, not 1 explains why sometimes the character gets stuck midair and can only move in small clockwise cirlces
Please tell me you figured it out? Another video showed turning link around and wiggling his butt. I tried that and stopped instead of the video showing faster speed.
@@MrYodaBomb If you're doing arrowless, it's a height thing. You just need an appropriate sized ledge. I found the balconies on the way up the Sheika towers work well
For anyone who is having trouble getting it to work, make sure to hold x while in the air untill you want to fall and dont let your joystick snap back into the middle. (those were my problems)
When pressing xb+ I either drop the bomb or I release it and it disappears. I don't understand the timing. I need specifics on timing because just saying press these buttons in order its helping and doesn't work for me.
I got this to work once. Now every time I do it when he steps off the edge, he just freezes in place. Either that or he freezes when I press B and he won't walk at all. Move the d pad just makes him spin around and float in mid air but he will not move forward.
except for me it'll work consistently then suddenly not, then after a while it works again. Idk what effects whether or not ill fly or not move at all.
Just figured it out. YOu ahve to have at least one arrow. If the arow you select has quantity 0, you get stuck. Jesus christ why isn't it the top comment anywhere.
So I tried it and got everything, but when I stepped off the ledge, it shot me up REALLY high but I didn't slide very far. As I moved the camera, Link would begin sliding again, but only to the left/right, not where I was aiming to go.
I tried this and it works but for some reason he slows down and then stops to the point where he's just floating there I'm wondering why that happens and how can I stop that from happening :edit also for some reason he can't go a certain direction
I know this is old but I got it. You have to make link face the opposite direction you want to go and "wiggle" ur stick for a bit then turn back around. He will accelerate in that direction. Just be sure not to let the left stick to back to center or u will drop.

If anything, the biggest miss was how to keep from stalling mid air Glitch involves a bow and he clearly draws an arrow with it before the bomb glitches. It isn't a feature, it's a way to break the game. If the video shows a bow and arrow, why would u try without the arrow and bitch at the creator when it doesn't work? TLDR video is sub par to explain a not small glitch. But not mentioning arrows that were visually in the video had nothing to do with it.
Yeah, he forgot to mention to press B multiple times. So I gave up, and went to watch a different tutorial. Then it worked. What i did was hold up my shield (in front of the bomb), then I pressed ZR and then quickly pressed A then B. Then I pressed X B and the menu button, then I removed the shield, ran to the ledge, while pressing B. THEN it worked.

@DGRT0X1K i got it a few hours ago. playing with button swap actually helps because I can lay my index finger sideways across the X and + buttons and hit them both at the same time. Now just to get the wiggle down and I've got it
Hello so here's an issue i got: Apparently i did everything correctly And i indeed landing just like what you show us, but somehow when i pulled out the bow, it does not work, i tried it over and over again, it still doesn't work How to fix that, thank you
I did every step correctly, Link's bomb and arrow and bow were stuck to his hand, no shield, but when I stepped up on the tower ledge, he immediately falls to the ground -_-

Ive been trying for an hour on the wii u version and on the first part , Link always drops the bomb and shoots the arrow.. ive tried turning off Daruks protection,different shields,bows,armors and cannot get it to work.. Can i get some help?,or do yall think the glitch was fixed in an update or something?

@@JhonBarosa ok i found out how to fix it: basically you’re not clicking b before the menu option is shown, so to know if you’re doing it correctly link has to ALMOST drop the bomb when there’s the menu option ps: i’m not sure how to explain it well sorry
i was searching on how to lift smuggle bcuz the shrine quest at thundea plateau the red orb fall off so i need to statis hit it back it doesnt work so i tried lift smuggle but this vid appears so i learn blss too and now i give up on the thundra plateau shrine but can blss straight to tabantha tower
@@Solid-Matrix Nintendo secretly updates things time to time. I believe this is one of them they made the AI a bit more smarter recently where they see you farther away. It makes Room 10 on the Trials not beatable even with the sneak strike now.
@@Solid-Matrix Noticed on the overworld itself enemies now spy you farther out even the easy camps they freak out easy now. You use to be able to go pretty close without having to use the monster masks and watch them all do the Monster Mash.
I can't seem to keep momentum. I will go for a little bit, then slow down to the point I either fall, or move so slow I let go of button to drop on my own. How do I change this?

What causes link to slow down when flying in this state?

Make sure that you slightly drop the bomb before going into the inventory

it takes some practice to get it right, but the timing is slightly difficult. it does work though.

you have to jump and THEN do b+ or x+ depending on what you have as jump. Also make sure that you hit + last
