Although it threw me off guard at first, I've come to embrace Night Demon's new sound on Outsiders, even if I always gravitate towards the first two albums. 😎 Looking forward to seeing them live in Montreal in May. 🥳 I dig Jarvis' Cauldron/Enforcer references, as they steered me back into "traditional" heavy metal in the late 2000s, with their amazing Chained To The Night/Into The Night debuts. Then came along Ambush, RAM and Night Demon, and the rest is history!🤘I'm also surprised and delighted he mentions San Fran's Midnight Chaser. 🎸🤗 Oh, the first time I spotted Curse Of The Damned on our good pal NWOTHM's channel - his very first video by the way in 2015 - I too thought it was a long lost relic from the past. 🙃(Right now, I'm obsessed with "Black Widow"). Check out fellow Night Demon maniac/guitar hero Iron Demon's page, where he fondly covers a bunch of ND and Iron Maiden.🤯
Excellent content! Jarvis is one of the hardest working guys in regards to heavy music today. Not only as a musician, but also as a manager and promoter of under-appreciated bands from the past and present - a role also well-handled by "Ruthless Metal".
Night Demon is the only band from the documentary that I was familiar with. I was there when they recorded Live Darkness. They strike the perfect balance of showing off their influences and sounding fresh.
being nearly 40yrs old its so good to have bands like these - including Helvetets Port coz i didn't really take to them at 1st but they've grown on me - that i had no knowledge of & doing this music, where i am in Australia its all hip hop shit,i grew up with thrash & traditional metal & its saddened me thru out time to see where it went, we all know the major bands who started the fires but its bands like these that keep the flame burning 🤘

Yes, that's mostly the case everywhere. these bands are never played on the radio or on the TV. It's just pop and hip hop.

Usually the eltists are the fans of the heavier genres.
