I consider myself very fortunate that I was able to jam with Jimmy McCarty on a few different occasions when he had The Detroit Blues Band, back in the early '90s
Jim is still killing it after all these years and Carmine is Carmine! They sound great but Tim Bogart is missed! ☆☆☆☆☆ The singer and harpist are good!
What are you guys relatives, no bass player no band. One question, name one rock band when the bass player left the band, the band broke up? Now I can name you a ton of bands, when the lead guitarist or the vocalist left bands. But I can't think of one band that broke apart when the bass player left. Let me just say I'm a fan of Tims, he's a great player. Go listen to the bass player from grand Funk Railroad. One last thing, there's only one guy and cactus that people would pay to see, if you think that's Tim you're just full of yourself. Let me just say I think Jim is done with cactus, unless that singer learns to control himself and stop stepping all over mcCarty's great playing. This video is a perfect example, Watch McCarty go away to the end of the stage, to get away from the idiot. PS carmine should know better, without Jimmy, you're just another rock'n roll band. Hard to replace legends.
@@mike67006700 Along this subject I read somewhere that McCarty actually wanted to distance himself from Bogert because of Tim's ungodly stage volume. That situation took care of itself with Bogert's motorcycle wreck !!!###
Carmine's snare drum sounds exactly the same as in 1970. A good honest rock and roll drum sound that sounds like it should kids.
jimmy kunes is a blues singing monster !!!! he is amazing...
It took Carmine Appice 40 years to find someone who could replace Rusty Day vocally in this band !!!###

Man, we're you lucky. I consider him the best rock/blues player ever and most of my rock chops on guitar I stole from him !!!###
How can one not like this? Mc Carty is a god
that does that make Carmine?

Check KILO, a great Aussie AC/DC family project - and thank you Jim McCarty for the inspiration. You are amazing.

Where is Tim? They need him in there to keep that rhythm section cookin'!
At this point in time he had probably suffered his motorcycle accident/never completely recovered until he was ultimately taken from us in early 2021.
I think that guitar player needs a little bit of work, lol. Jim McCarty is my hero and he will always be. A true legend for sure.
No Tim Bogert, No Cactus.
