Annie will take you step by step through our crusty bread recipe • How to Make Crusty Art... This is our favorite homemade bread for a quick and easy, same day artisan bread. After assembling the ingredients and allowing a few hours for rising, it bakes in a Dutch oven for half an hour or so and you are ready to enjoy it!
Sourdough bread takes a little longer to prepare because the fermentation rising process requires several hours to take effect. But it is also not a difficult recipe, and Julianne will break it down in her traditional, down to earth fashion. For the full how-to video on Sourdough Bread, click here: • Sourdough Made Easy! H...

Just want to say mama you are looking prettier today than ever. Your skin has a glow and you just look so much younger. Are you doing something different with your skin? Maybe it’s all that delicious bread.
Beautiful breads and I like the photography! I love baking bread. My favorite bread is homemade Dutch oven sourdough bread Or sourdough baguettes are amazing. The last time I tried baking with regular instant yeast, after 2 years of using sourdough, my dough rose so quickly, i actually spoiled my batch of rolls I was making Because I let it over proof! I think I've adapted to sourdough now. You can set it and forget it and it never gets ruined. 😁
🙋♀️ I’m so grateful thanks to Juliann I now bake beautiful sourdough bread ☺️
It took me awhile to realize that not everyone has to eat or even like sourdough. I tried I don't know how many times to do a sourdough but just couldn't get it to turn out right. And then I realized why am I knocking myself out over this I don't even like sourdough. But I do like to grind my own wheat and I'm getting healthier food than the store by doing that. We don't all have to like the same healthy foods and that's okay we'll get there together.
I'm baking my 2nd loaf of sourdough right now! Yes I am very late to the party. This is fun but slow, since I am 74 it is fine to be slow. I do need help so hope to join your group to ask questions. Bless you ladies for all your help.
Lovely! Enjoy the great smells and wonderful flavors 😋
Hello❤ I'm so grateful that I found you beautiful souls. Thanks for all you share 🥰. I was wondering if you have tips on how to keep a crispy crust? My loans come out perfect, then the next day that crisp crust is soft. What the heck is up with that. Thanks so-so much for your time.💞
Julianne’s cinnamon raisin bagels was the first sourdough recipe I ever made last spring. thanks for that video as well as this one. I also remember making your crusty bread recipe a while back and my family thought it was so great.
Awesome! We so appreciate your encouragement and updates! Enjoy your sourdough adventures 😋
I love sourdough but very intimidating by it, I tried to follow a recipe but just didnt work out for me as far as having more starter-if I'm wording it correctly.
The "Crusty" bread is one of my fav's!! I call it "Overnight" Bread, because I mix it before bed, leave it on the counter over night & bake it in the morning!! Amazing. As a cheat from time to time, I add sour dough starter for flavour!! Not a true sourdough but tastes so yummy!!! Thanks Ladies - love your channel!!!
Wonderful!! So yummy, enjoy!
So much good info!!
Hello from East Texas! Thank you for sharing your bread recipes and practices. I’ve never made sourdough bread… but hoping to try soon. ! Blessings to you all
You can do it 😁 💪 Enjoy!!
Good video girls! I will confess that I have not made the crusty bread yet but I do make sourdough (using various flours) on occasion as my starter fills in jar. I also make a traditional yeasted bread. I am one of those bread bakers who wants to do at least an oven full so I don't have to bake again for a while. I like them all, including my gluten free sourdough starter!!
I like most bread. lol. They both looked great.
I just made your crusty bread today, and it turned out perfectly! Thank you!!
Wonderful!
I love your artisan bread and so does my family. Made it so many times
I super love homemade sourdough rolls
Beautiful bread! Do you ever use whole wheat flour in your crusty bread? I'm trying to add more whole grain flours in my baking adventures.
Can I convert your bread recipes for gluten free?
We have never done that since we do not have gluten tolerance issues. We can refer you to @farmfreshfamily on Instagram. They are GF, blessings!!
@@HeartwayFarms thank you so much
How do you eat so many carbs but seem to be losing weight?😆
I'm not a fan of sourdough bread. I have never tried homemade but have tried many many store brands and I just don't care for it. I don't know if homemade would be that much better, to take the time to find (or make) a starter to try it and still not like it. But I am glad that you take the time out of your day to show people who do like it how easy it is to do.
My husband and I aren’t huge sourdough bread fans either, but we LOVE many of the other things you can make with the sourdough… cookies, pancakes, quick breads, etc. 😋 I grind my own grain so it adds a little additional “chew” as well.
Home made is way better! Try it ❤
Store bought “sourdough” bread uses vinegar or citric acid to make the sour flavor.
