- This lecture starts with setting new preferences in HYSYS and customizing units of measurements and then we attempt to model the production of propylene glycol from propylene oxide and excess water using a CSTR. You'll also be learning how to model a kinetic reaction, inputting and/or calculating the binary coefficients and also inputting Arrhenius parameters such as activation energy. It would also interest you to know that in this lecture a practical use of "case study" is employed

Should I give an energy stream if I am not cooling the CSTR? Secondly will it effect my economics.
I don't think you should. It will affect the economics most likely
