TFS - I do something similar on my daily to dos...I have a little half sheet list that I designed to clip onto my page marker and on that I put in bullet journal style my daily tasks that are not time sensitive etc and I can have one on the other side of my page marker if I move something to the next day or start on my next day tasks. I've tried other methods and always come back to this so it must be the thing that works best for me. :))
thank you for sharing. im just getting into planning and i think this way may be better for me. i like the whole decorative styles i see in youtube but i know I'll get overwhelmed and lost in it.
Welcome to the planner community!! Yes, it can be overwhelming, but as long as you stick to your way of doing things that works for you, you are good to go :)
i do functional planning as well. now i kinda want to try a week on one page. love your planning system! where did u get your week on one page inserts?
Congrats on your pregnancy. I'm sorry for the stupid question, but what style of planner do you recommend for someone that already has a work planner for the office? I work outside the home, so I created a work planner to write notes and create to-dos that I have to do in the office. I do want to organize my personal life and right now i'm just working with my phone's calendar. should I continue with the calendar or go ahead and make a real planner? thanks.
Hi Rosa, thank you!! No that's not a stupid question at all. I also have a work planner since I own a business I have my business planner separate from my personal planner. I think you could easily have a personal planner and a work planner as long as their isn't any overlap to get you confused. Hopefully that makes sense :)
Thx. Makes sense. Last question: Do you know where I can find something that looks like a filofax but isn't so pricey, or should I just buy a $60 planner? My work planner is a small 3- ring binder I put together for less than $15. Is there something stylish but affordabe?
Is this an A5 size planner? The bullet journal didn't work well as i didnt like having to write down and draw out everything so i really want to try a planner with inserts. I see the 2 sizes are either A5 or personal? which on is better?
Hi I know you're asking her not the audience, but I found that it really just depends on what you use your planner for. Me, I use my planner for work, school, and personal life so I need more room to write. So I only use a5 planners. But a lot of people use their planners just to jot down quick tasks they need to do every day and don't like carrying around something as big as an a5 planner, so they use personal.
+katie Hi Katie, this is a personal size planner. It really depends on what your going to use it for and how your going to use your planner. If you want to take it with you on the go, a personal size is great. A5 planners are not easy to carry around but do hold a lot of information. I hope this helps, thanks for watching :)
I had so much fun watching! Thanks for sharing! I am going to share my first" plan with me". So excited! Flo

Interesting observation about what planners you use the most. I keep changing mine up. I love my bullet journal but barely use it.
