"Here comes our dad"!, absolute magical words to a dad's ears AND heart!! The word's, sentiment, and emotional feeling, make a man swell with pride, joy, and love! 😢❤️🤵👰♂️🕺💃.
That is one heck of a “Daddy” !!! Anything for his family. His wife & kids, I hope realize what an amazing man they have.
Omg can you hear his kids they love this man for doing this ..
A supportive and loving family, beautiful! 😊
3.5 hour drive why even fly there it’ll take the same time
It would be about an hour flight. I've done it a couple of times. I live about 5 hours from all of my family. When my gma died I obvs needed to be with her, then go home work for a few days then make it back for her funeral. So my aunt paid for my flights.
Also for family vacations sometimes I'll fly from home to the airport near them, then we all fly to our destination. Those little short trips r usually pretty cheap (as far as flights go). Driving there and back is usually about $150 in gas. The plane tickets have been ≈$200.
@@syrupdonte8426When you have to show up 2 hours before the flight, yes, it would be about the same time.
Dad of the year!!!! Nobody is stopping this family vacation.
Wow the way they greeted him that’s pure love 😊 that kind of love that allows you to power through in your worst days. ❤
This is love. What a great family. That dad is a hero.
Way to go dad. Made ur family proud.
Ily dad for being such a determined father for family!!!
Where there's a will, there is a way. Good job Willie
Yea nobody has ever rented a uhaul and drove 3.5 hours. Truly the craziest dad moment!
At least the man cluld say he arrived in style. That's a victory in my book.
@@scottalderson8673 he tried to edit his comment but it looks like he made it worse.
Nothing burger video and nothing burger comments. Wtf is youtube turning into
Great man, great problem solver.
Him and like the working class and the poor. Poor people have to rent a car or a U haul like this man. He takes a plane for a 3 hour trip that is mandatory for the later groups.
Great Dad ❤ ❤ ❤ Love the Celebration! Family is Everything!
Excellent job, Dad! Family is important.
This is awesome great husband...and great dad ...nothing stopped him to be with his family...
That's a man who makes things happen regardless of the circumstances
Dad energy

@@maxwalsh234get well soon and go outside and do actual work instead of being a waste of society please
It might sound ghetto, but as a former gm for u haul, I can tell you that wasn't cheap for sure.
@@electricbacon97epic47 daily rentals may be cheap af. But that was as long as a short flight, so where they get you is if it's a daily that's the daily rental plus gas for the trip and you have to pay like 75 cents a mile plus gas refill. Or if they did a one way then it's double the daily rate and set amount of millage payed upfront then you still have to get gas for the trip and refill.
@@lexcorp8462you do realise payed refers to painting a boat with a waterproof material. The word is Paid
Renting a U-Haul is cheaper than renting a car. The U-Haul was probably about 37 bucks or so. A car starts at 40. Of course this is all dependent on where you live but as far as I know, a small U-Haul is cheaper
It sure isn’t cheap because he drove 3.5 hours. At an average of 60 miles to an hour he drove about 210 miles one way. I’m assuming he did the drop off at the destination location as he would have a flight back. But at about a buck a mile? Yeah he paid a chunk of change.
🏆Now THAT is how you dad! Rule #3 Show up for your family no matter what
Dad determination!!! At least you're together and able to have a family vacation. Many of us can't!
It must been a slow day at InsideEdition. I guessed anything could be news on a slow day. 😂
I love how excited they were that their dad made it !
3.5 hours drive? That isnt that bad. I am surprised they flew anyways
Sounds silly to me. We drive nearly three hrs in the course of day. That’s not long.
I've driven from the bay to Los Angeles and back in the same day it's 5 hours each way
No dude its so fwiggin crazy that he did it in a uhaul ! Like what thats a truck not a car ! You cant drive trucks that far ! Craziest news story of the year
Classless American screeching.
When a Dad rents a U-Haul to get to his family *AND* leaves his bags behind, you know he’s a family man & that vacation means everything to him and his family.
Now that’s a DAD❤
A fabulous father and lovely family! I am so sorry you still don't have your luggage. But, wow what a hero. Xxx❤❤❤❤❤
Omg!!! I might have to rent a uhaul in the future, should i vlog it yall😝🤪🤪so wilddddd
This man represents!!!! ❤
That's a great father right there
Super dad 😊 All that matters is the quality time & love they're sharing as a family 💖
❤❤❤ I couldn’t help but smiling every time I watch this clip
Man driving a U-Haul it’s not fun. Bless his heart.
What an incredible FAMILY!
What a welcome. I wish my family was this happy to see me.
Wonderful dad ...pray they got there bags...
The man can afford to fly his family Only 4 hours away from where they live There's no way he don't have a working Personal vehicle
He's going to get a flight back and return the u haul to a u haul facility. Use your brain plz.
@@CountryBoyChrisOr, like op said, use the family car. Don't even need to fly. Use your brain.
When you realize theres more than 2 people and theyre going on vacation they wont have enough room to pack all their belongings. Use YOUR brain.@HackedUpForBarbeque
Agree wirh OP. if he drove 3.5 hours in a uhaul, why didn't he just drive 3.5 hours in his own car? He must not have been starting from home.
Working on a solar power station with over 300 ppl in a small town, there were no rentals or hotel rooms left. I got a Uhaul van and used it for both for 2 weeks. Then switched to a Uhaul Truck and used it on the job site. 😃 thanks Uhaul
That greeting will play in his memory forever… may even make it to the 7 minutes.
That dad is an ingenious king!
Awesome....!! I love the creative thinking and the fact that he wasn't going to let anything hold him back...!!
That Uhaul bill is going to be insane with mileage, gas and the insurance they make you buy.
Dad's we the sidestepping kings...this man had a 120 mph curve ball hurling his way he chewed it up and spit it out!!😂
They’re acting like this is the only smart thing this man ever did in his life 😂😂 maybe it was
Probably the Most out of Character thing He's ever Done..He Thought outside of The Box 😉
I love his welcoming party! Way to go Dad!
Awesome dad! Way to think outside the box
As a UHAUL employee I’m glad we can be of help to make things easier for everyone I’m a Uhaul mechanic from San Francisco bayshore and yes people also come and rend our mini vans also our small long bed trucks cause it’s cheaper then renting lol
We had to do that on 911 to try to get home. Luckily a last minute car was available instead. You use what you can.
This isn’t unique. People do it all the time.
I did this when my car broke down on a cross-country move. Cheaper than a tow since I still had 1000 miles to go.
@NakAlienEd my husband did the same thing when he broke down 100s of miles from home also
Father of the year definitely cause he did what he had to to meet his family on vacation.
A cold beer as a reward. Thats divorce language there.
I did this with a buddy after his car broke down in Nashville. All the rental car places were closed. Airport won’t get you a car unless you have a flight.
25ft U-Haul in the back roads of Kentucky at night. A lot of deer were dodged.
Glad you arrived safe and sound to be with your family !
Can’t believe how much this correspondent looks like his father! 💜
American Airlines. Go figure.
I'm glad Dad got there regardless.
You know who he’s voting for he knows how to make things happen, 🇺🇸❤️💪
Family’s important
Can tell this family is rich as hell. Us normal people couldn't afford to drive a u haul that far.
That cold beer upon arrival brought tears to my eyes
In Florida’s heat you need water/Gatorade not alcohol. But whatever.
@@YolandaPancamobruh he can drink water too when he gets inside, I’ll bet that beer was a relief whether his body needs it or not 😳😂
Three and a half hour drive? Why did they even fly for that? That's nothing. I must be a different tax bracket, lol.
Determination! Awesome! Very cool! 😎
Awesome Dad
we promoting drinking and driving with this one 🤠
Well no, because he just arrived at their destination. So he wasn't driving anymore.

Cold beer while driving
When the kids were shouting as he arrived… ❤❤❤
Vacations, renting things on a whim.... Yeah, I can't relate
Drinking and driving, this sounds legal
Rich ppl make me mad
I wonder if the U-haul truck price came out to be cheaper in the long run with zero weight in the back Compare to the rental fee of a car. Awesome idea either way.
I seen people camp in these. Couple air mattresses , cooler, and whatever you wanna haul camping
They get 10 miles / gallon at best.
I can’t stop smiling 😊 love this
That's it Dad... Love it❤
3.5 hours? This is a hero? Wtf ive spent 4 days on the road eith a car that could only go 5 mph then again went 4 hours in a massive jittery deafening truck at 5 mph aswel..... wtf...
Beautiful family
He’s on the news… for this??? Only 3 hours? Waaaaaahhhh
That ain't even cutting it till lunch time for me
He is a determined dad to get things done
Right on! Sheer determination
The magic word "lawsuit" will make the luggage appear
3.5 hours!! That’s how long i drive to get to work. Take the car. Why is everyone buying plane tickets?! The wait at the airport is longer than that!! Maybe I’m biased since I’m from Texas and have to drive from Houston to Dallas to see my folks, but Florida isn’t much different with traffic.
that is what i said this man takes a plane for a 3 hour drive....must be nice to have that kinda money.
@@Mannyymann i drive an hour and a half each way. 3.5 is definitely on the worst days.

That was genius thinking dad
All this over a 3 and half hour u haul drive? This was really stupid
Big up to daddy for thinking outside the box. I have decided to NEVER EVER EVER take another AA flight after my HORRIBLE AND HORRENDOUS experience on December 23, 2015 and I have NO REGRETS.
Why didn't ya'll druve in the first place? Leaving to airport 30 to 60 minutes. Showing up 90 minutes early and waiting. An hour flight. Now waiting 45 minutes for baggage and for rental car. Adds up to 2.75 to 3.25 hours. Nowlets not forget the drive from airport to beach. It almost the same amount of time and less stress. I understand if its more than 5 hour drive, but 3.5? Thats dumb
LOVES HIS FAMILY
Wow he drove a whole 3 hours. That was the start of my day every day delivering kegs of beer. Where's my medal lol Jesus
I’ve done this before. This isn’t that big a deal.
