@@ECWPlayshe's saying it's an incredibly unbalanced mechanic for every player that didn't get to hire her. Which it is. If you can just ignore a key mechanic of a game, the storm is supposed to kill you, it gives you an incredible advantage.
This is beautifully drawn out. These 2 kids are smart for abusing every bit of detail they got and running it on tourney day. It’s like watching them set up a heist first then watch them execute it live then finally watching them walk away with all the money.

Its like saying it is fair if there is an instant kill switch in the center of the map that will oneshot every player that isnt the one who pushed it. Everyone can press it, but it is still a BS mechanic that has nothing to do in a competetive enviorment.

Kami has consistently been one of the best players in the world for years, invalidating his achievement based on smart utilisation of a feature is unfair.

Imagine getting second place in a tournament, with hundreds of thousands of dollars on the lines, to some guys that just used an unbalanced ai to camp outside the circle.
It’s called using your brain, if there’s an exploit that wasn’t deemed illegal or against the rules, then they had every right to use it as they pleased, skill isn’t everything if there isn’t a brain to back it up, specially since fortnite tends to spiral down to luck rather than skill. Also not to mention they used it to avoid the early game competition the late game team still lost to this guys meaning this team had better aim and skill

@@KingOzymandias_I dont think the devs intended players to be able to sit in the storm, an area that literally screams at you to get out of it when it closes in. A mechanic that bypasses all your shields and attacks your health pool directly.
The fact this could happen with this one specific hire makes it an exploit, which can be considered cheating in some instances. This tourney didnt seem to have a rule against it but I do think that future ones might make some kind of rule against this if nothing in the game is altered to make it a non issue.

or they could nerf it for tournaments. like 1 jug per 20 seconds or her jugs wont effect her. so you have to heal her to keep getting 2 jugs per 20 seconds.

@@aceypoo3364it kicks in as soon as you enter the storm. And as shown in the video deals 1 hp/sec ren throws 2 50hp healing splashes every 20 seconds which means you will only have lost 20hp in between each potion.

Remedy is an awesome character to hire :3 both Remedy and the ninja dude at the race track can pick you up too I believe, granted that's not quite as useful up front but if you play with lots of random teams (where people just take off or straight watch ya die) it's great to have 'em with you.
(They'll only do it if their immediate radius is clear of enemies though, and even then I see it get confused on what actions it wants to take. Lol)

Yeah this is pretty silly to allow. Doesn't help that a lot of AI hires from what I can tell have basically double a normal players health and shield which makes them annoying to fight even if they arent the smartest.
