◆須須(すず)神社は能登半島の最北端に位置する日本海側一帯の守護神。海に面した景観の素晴らしい神社です。鳥居から参道に向かって、海からの心地よい潮風が吹き抜けていきます
創建は第10代祟神天皇の時代(紀元前148年～紀元前30年)といわれ、由緒ある神社の雰囲気が漂っています。
拝殿へと続く参道は、先ほどの海の明るさとは打って変わって、仄暗い静寂さに包まれています
社叢は昔から神域として保護され、鬱蒼とした原生林の境内1万坪の中には約250種類の植物があります。

Suzu Shrine is located at the northernmost tip of the Noto Peninsula and is the guardian deity of the entire Sea of Japan area. From the torii gate to the approach, a pleasant sea breeze blows through the air.
It was founded during the reign of the 10th Emperor Sujin (148 BC - 30 BC). It has the atmosphere of a venerable shrine.
The path leading to the shrine is dark and silent, a stark contrast to the brightness of the sea.
This shrine ground is protected as a sacred area, and there are about 250 kinds of plants in 30,000㎡.
