The signals were replaced not long ago. The new lights don't have the white light since the crossing was rebuilt to include crossing gates. The new crossing signals is like the ones in Spain and Chile.
@@agustinj.s.5405 Actually, there are some modern railroad signals in Chile. I saw some Street View imagery from 2021 showing a modern signal with LED lights, a barrier, and likely a speaker.
Robin Tammik (I hope you don't mind if I call you out like this) Well, the bulbs need to be replaced then. (At Valingu they're fine.) I suppose this crossing will be gone in a few years since this has more vehicular traffic, someone could lay a hand (legally ofc) on at least one signal. (The cars did stop for the signals on the other video of this crossing though.)
No they don't. The horns just need a fix. I don't think people care about the age of the signals, they'll just go past if they don't care. Original unmodified signals right?
Not only did Soviet fleet get scrapped, the Soviet CROSSINGS got scrapped. Man I wish Estonia at least preserved some old junk :/ Its like they say Old is Gold
Safety. They look cool, but other ones like it have claimed many victims. Not to mention how are you gonna increase train speeds without increasing crossing safety?
I don't know how Old that Railroad crossing is, but it works, until... Now it's CRAP! The Horns are having the Hiccups, the Lights need LEDs installed. Just don't forget the Gates!
The old lights dates back to the early days when Estonia was still part of the Soviet Union during WW2. Now this year, the crossing has been rebuilt and new lights plus gates have now replaced the long outdated signals.
This is a SSSR crossing, but the Estonia is a post Soviet country, a the SSSR crossing called in ex- Czechoslovakia with lights and horns such like in the USSR, it is imported from USSR to Czechoslovakia, but the horns can be czechoslovakian, just like in there, and Soviet crossing lights, sometimes AZD 71 and Soviet horns type Ревун-2, like in this crossing.

Yes but at Raasiku there are similar outdated signals and a accident happened there.
