My chihuahua was coughing and wouldn’t stop and so we took her to the vet found out her trachea collapsed and if we wouldn’t have taken her in we would have lost her

What did they do? Cuz our chiweenie does the same thing and the vet said the same thing and told us to try to make him lose weight and that would help but I’m interested to see what ur vet did. :)

No mention of tracheal collapse. The goose honk is classic symptom of collapsing trachea.

the vets are still open, I think you just have to make an appointment. and as long as you social distance and wear a mask I think you'll be fine.

My dog sniffs alot especially when she's curious about something. So she came to the point that she sniffed a strand of her fur that caused here to sneeze ALOT. it's a continuous sneeze like she's having a hard tine breathing while trying to blow that thing out of her nose. I was so so nervous that time. No blood came out so we didn't send her to the vet. Now everytime she sniffes something, she sneeze alot. Is it normal?

@@lanadelreysvape dogs usually sneeze when they're playing to let other dogs or people know that they're playing, and not wanting to actually fight.. As for sneezing when they wake up, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't worry too much. If you're concerned, you can always phone a vet to check

Mention it to your vet the next time around. Could always be tracheal collapse depending on your breed. If they cough when the vet massages their windpipe, that is a big tell.

My dog is coughing like crazy. He was miss diagnosed. Supposedly he has congestive heart failure. He’s been on meds for months. He stopped after heart meds now he’s back to coughing again. More like goose honk. He definitely doesn’t have kennel cough. Please people don’t listen to these women. If your dog is gasping or gagging or goose honking insist on an ex ray of their heart and lungs. My baby is still struggling. He’s 9 years old.
