I played this course with my Dad around 20 years ago when I was a kid! We were in Edinburgh for a weekend visiting from Ireland. My brother had caddied for the Ladybank head pro at the Irish open in Adare the year before! We took the train up and played a late summers evening round while my mother walked with us! I forgot most of the course until now! Thank you!
The 3 iron is a great club, Dunlop Peter Thomson Contour Sole released in 1962. The 10 iron was a John Letters Lee Trevino Super Mex and as suggested, the equivalent of a PW at around 50°, released in 1979.
4:11 the first mention of the dreaded double dogleg. EAL: makes a 'whole dog' comment. *Eric, I think you were nay thinking of dog-legs, but instead were thinking of those half-dogs. With a hole where there is a half-dog, a double half-dog would be full-dog. I think that's what you were thinking of anyways. What you said dinnah make much sense.
Love the video! Was a pleasure to meet you guys and shoot this ⛳️

Such an original Idea. Get some good Golf buddies together and play Oldschool. Love it.

This was fun and way more chill than the exaggerated energy in other channels videos I skip through.

Did you see how much his shaft flexed on the 3rd hole tee shot?! I rewound 3 times to watch it. The poor thing nearly bent in half.
Almost nothing worse than a double on a par 3 in a scramble. Great fun video!
Great shirt, E!
Ladybank is on my doorstep and I can confirm it's one of the hardest courses I've ever played...once was enough for me!
Mark's a great sport!
You should have given him 1 left handed club! 😂😂

I was going to protest not being selected to participate in the 400 scramble by not watching this video. I caved.
Double dog leg, like a full dog.
