Following our official invitations from the Jazz Festival Surinam (Director: Rolinzo Huur), Coffee Mama Committee (Contact: Ken Doorson), Cathedral of Thorns (Chairman: Daisy Casimiri), Mundo Bizarro (Director: Un Poco Loco), Fundación por la Cultura (Director: Juan Guillermo Rúa), the Estudiantina Ensemble received subsidy for the voyage from the "Fonds Podiumkunsten Performing Arts Fund Nederland". The Estudiantina Ensemble enjoys great fame in the Caribbean and made a great tour through Surinam, Curaçao and Colombia.
