Honestly, just having a hoodie that I can carry as a backpack when I’m not wearing it is worth the price. I hate having to carry my hoodie in my hands or around my waist
It's a cool concept and you really can only put small items that already fit in your pocket because if you suddenly need it to become a hoodie again, you have to carry the items you put in there. But cool way to store the hoodie when you don't want to carry it around folded.
I have been using my Quikflip for over a year and a half. It is by far my favorite hood. Excellent product that works exactly as advertised. Oh and you do NOT have to turn it inside out to convert it. You just take it off and reach in the pocket and pull it through. So easy and well designed.
This would actually be pretty good for travel. You could throw your frequently used items in it and when you get to a hotel or something, take them all out and you'll ha e a hoodie for the trip. There's pretty limited uses but some of them are pretty cool.
Alternatively, you could have a draw string bag that could easily fit in your pocket. If it’s too warm, you can tie the hoodie around your waist. At no time do you need to worry about taking thing in and out of the bag. Also, it would be cheaper.

I bought the hoodie lite one, not the classic, pretty recently, and it was a very good purchase. Wearing it like a normal hoodie or drawstring backpack is fine, but then sometimes you come into the issue of needing both the hoodie and the backpack at the same time. So, I also bring a separate drawstring backpack when I wear this. The backpack is durable but very thin and can easily fit inside the quikflip in backpack form, without taking so much space so you can still put all your other stuff inside.
I see it as a hoodie in the morning and back pack in the afternoon . With a bonus option to accumulate things as your out. But mostly so as your not stuck carrying it though out the day. Probably great for out walking, jogging or hiking.

They stand behind their products as well. I purchased the rain jacket and one of the grommets detached. I message their CS and they sent me a brand new jacket. They did ask for a reason and I sent them pix initially as I typically would.
I'm really glad it worked! I can see this being useful for warm day/cool nights, bringing snacks but will definitely finish the snacks before evening kind of trips!
Neat idea.. Only reason I couldn't see using this is, if you have a bunch of stuff in it as a bag where do you put the stuff when you need it as a jacket if you are on the go?
Thanks , I've never even considered wrapping a gift in a walmart hoodie...That's GENIUS!! Living in a coastal town on L Michigan , it's almost always important to have a sweat shirt or hoodie near the coast (with in 5 blocks or so) but suddenly it's way too warm 6-7 blocks out that's a nice idea rather than taking off the hoodie and having to carry it.
I can think of one really good use case: It's a little below a comfortable temperature for a walk/run, so you wear the jacket. Then as you get warmed up you need to take your jacket off. Instead of going back to the car or wrapping the jacket around your waist you can carry it on your back. Admittedly a bit niche but I'd find it useful there.
This is one of the few ASOT type items I'd consider buying. Even at $55, if it's well-made then I'm good with that. I've seen t-shirts even back in the 90s that sold for $70+, so... yeah. Go for a hike or something in the morning and it's chilly. Wear it with your waters, phone, etc in your pockets, and then when it and/or you warm up then you can carry it on your back with the same stuff in it. No need to tie it around your waist or anything like that. At the same time, I have a backpack/cooler combo that allows me to carry ice, drinks, sandwiches, etc, and all that and when I shed my fleece I can stick it in an outside storage area as well as my phone, charger/battery packs, etc. Bottom line: I'll stick with what I have as it's been working for 10+ years and still holding up, but I can definitely see a use for this.
Man its great seeing your channel grow. Been here since around 40k and the wife and i still make purchases based on ur unbiased reviews no questions asked lol. Stay honest thank u
I know this is a year late, but the one silly thing about this is if you go out and it gets chilly then you need the hoodie, now all the items you had in it are now being held in your hand if you have enough room. bottle of water, bottle of ice tea, mini tri-pod and anything yo ay added in there
Zippers on the pockets and maybe one of those big pockets with a zipper on the back like on some running wind breakers would be a great way of organizing stuff in it when in hoodie AND in backpack mode
Pretty good idea. Whenever I go on a plane I have to worry about fitting my hoodie in to my luggage. With this I could use it as a laptop bag and then a hoodie when I arrive.
My one question is how well do the straps appear to be attached? I would almost be afraid that over prolonged use that the straps would break off just based off the video here and how it appears to be supporting the weight. I know I have broke multiple bags with rope straps like that after caring normal things in them.
I've seen the ads for this. It's not my kinda thing, more of a edc backpack guy, but it seems well made, easy to use, and convenient for weather changes or the off chance you'll need to carry a few things. I agree, other than the $, it's a pretty good product.
Seems like a well made hooded sweatshirt, that's a big plus. I'm not really sold in the drawstring backpack conversion though. As an alternate way to carry a hoodie around it's a neat idea, but as a true backpack it does not seem practical. Anything one might put in the backpack suddenly needs to be carried by hand once you have switched back to a hoodie, so we can't truly use the backpack mode as a backpack. And drawstrings are not a good option for carrying much of anything in a backpack, over time the drawstrings will dig into your shoulders and the more you need to carry the quicker that will happen.
It bothers me that "tactical green" is actually grey, lol! Edit: Nevermind, when it was brought indoors for the backback demonstration, I could then see it was a slight green :)
Perfect for amusement parks. Use it as a hoodie when you go through security so you don't have to do bag checks. Once inside convert it to a backpack to hold your stuff. If it gets chilly later convert it back to a hoodie.
This will be great for when it is hot in the day but chilly at night. Plus there’s gotta be a way for us that are handy with a sewing machine that can make this with our favorite hoodies already.
Great opening - you did that really well! Love your channel. As for the product... I'm not really sure I understand how this is useful. I mean, I get that maybe it's chilly in the morning so you want wear a hoodie but it warms up so you turn the hoodie into a bag. But what are you doing with all your stuff when it's still a hoodie? And if it gets chilly and you want your hoodie back, what do you do with all the stuff it was storing? Seems like you'd need to decide at the beginning if it's going to be a hoodie or a backpack which means it doesn't really need to convert. I mean, it's nice to not have to tie it around your waist if you want to take it off so I can see turning it in ty o a backpack to store ITSELF but I'm not sure I see the utility in using it to store anything else in case you need it to be a hoodie again.
One issue I see is that. if you had it in bag mode full of stuff, but then wanted a jacket. You can't really use the jacket without sacrificing your bag, meaning you need another way to carry your stuff.
I think its good for some situations but in many cases, let's say your at a sports game and you have a bunch of items in that bag and the temp drops and now you need that jacket now you have items that may not fit back in the sweaters pocket.
I like the gracies and it is a good idea. I thought about buying it but the price is quite steep. It's meant for simplicity for runners. But would you run with all that stuff on your back? It would be flimsy and the heavy stuff would hit your back harder than even a cheap simple backpack. There are times where I would wear a sweater and then go into work and it would be too hot. I hate putting my sweater on the chair and times when I just want to get it out of the way. So this would be a good thing for that. I am still considering buying it, maybe if the price went down in the future.
So, if you are using it as a backpack first, what do you do with your stuff when you convert it to a hoodie? Conversely, if you are using it as a hoodie first how do you carry your stuff? Another backpack?
I'm wondering what the back of the hoodie looks like. Can you see the stitching for the backpack portion? Neither the ads nor this video showed the back while wearing as a hoodie.
So, when I wear the hoodie, where do I put all the stuff that was in my bag? I've seen some jackets with a ton of pockets to carry a ton of things and wondered how much it would sag with all that weight, and then wondered where to put it with all the stuff in the pockets if I wanted to take it off. Wish I had a bag then. There's a good reason why most people have a jacket and a bag and keep them as 2 different items.
I like the jacket all by its self and, at a better price, would think about it. However in regards to the "pack" part, I have to wonder how far, into any decent walk, will someone go before becoming unhappy about having shoelaces for shoulder straps.
Without seeing the full video or having the jacket, my one complaint is what if I wear it out as a bag and then it gets cold.....what do I do with all the stuff I had on me
I much more curious about their rain jacket as I live in Seattle... and something like that would be perfect for those random light rains when I'm downtown.
The only issue I see is if you use it as a backpack you can't convert it back to a hoodie to wear because then you wouldn't have a place to put the stuff that was in the backpack.
You don't always want to carry a backpack. Think of this as a hoodie that you don't have to tie around your waist, instead of a backpack that converts into a hoodie.
@@JordanTalmor Well 80% of the year here in SC a hoodie is pointless because it's too warm, so yep gonna stick with my sling bag I can use all year long that has a way better strap, and compartments that don't require me to dig around for 20 minutes to find something at the bottom of the bag, and when I do need a hoodie I'm no out a bag for my stuff.
But what do you do with the items in your bag when want to put back on your hoodie? Seems like it would be better to have a hoodie & a tote bag separately.
My big problem with this item is that you can't really convert on the fly, if you're using it as a backpack and suddenly need a jacket, well your jacket is full of stuff because it's also a bag. If you're using it as a jacket, you can turn it into a bag if you're getting warm but it's not like you really have anything else to put into it so you could just carry the jacket. And especially where I live I need a jacket on and off regularly enough that I can't afford to have the only jacket I brought being too busy being a bag carrying stuff for me so if it's a bag for me I'd need another jacket available anyway.
The only thing I kept thinking was what do you do with all your stuff when you want to wear the jacket, maybe put a shopping bag inside too so you at least have something to carry everything when you need the jacket
dunno if a small drawstring bag requiring carrying another bag for stuff if you need a hoodie is worth the money. just stuffing any hoodie in a small drawstring bag you had folded in your pocket would work as well.
i dont see its use as a "real" backpack, but rather a pouch you can carry on the back for additional clothes. stuff a sweater in there and a cap, maybe gloves and you have a prep for cold weather.
It seems like it's more of a way to easily carry your hoodie when you get hot rather than a functional backpack. What happens to your stuff when you get cold? Also the straps don't look very comfortable. I think overall I'd rather have a lightweight jacket and a daypack.
I really like this product but what happens when you store it with a bunch of water and stuff in the backpack and you get cold and you want to turn it into your sweater what are you supposed to do with all the stuff that was in the backpack
Ok, so, it looks pretty cool. But the reason you would need it is because you are out walking/hiking and it starts raining or gets cold. So what do you do with all your stuff when you want to turn your pack into a coat?
That intro synced up ridiculously well. Nice work!

It's nice to see you get genuinely excited for a product! I wouldn't be surprised if you were jaded after trying so many products that are misses.
This will be great for when it is hot in the day but chilly at night. Plus there’s gotta be a way for us that are handy with a sewing machine that can make this with our favorite hoodies already.
This will become your favorite hoodi!
Havent watched entire video yet but curious. Is the backpack feature water/moisture resistant?
It isn't, it's just a fleece material
Now that was an intro. Glad to see the twins/alter egos back lmao
Another great video! Hope your shoulder feels better soon. The jacket/bag looks good on you- safe travels. 😉
Thanks. This will make a great Christmas present.
Looks good! Thanks for the honest review!
Pretty cool, my only concern would be, if you have a bunch of stuff in the bag then turn it into a Hoodie whatnot you do with all your stuff, hold it?
So, if you are using it as a backpack first, what do you do with your stuff when you convert it to a hoodie?
Conversely, if you are using it as a hoodie first how do you carry your stuff? Another backpack?
I'm wondering what the back of the hoodie looks like. Can you see the stitching for the backpack portion? Neither the ads nor this video showed the back while wearing as a hoodie.
Tentacle green 🤔
Genius product idea, hoodie in the morning, backpack afternoon. No more tying the sleeves around your waist
Oh wow, that intro was quite nice. Love the new video edits. It's lit 🔥
The way you explained it made it easier for me to figure it out
Can you look at the new cube/square pillow that is floating around? Thanks
Without seeing the full video or having the jacket, my one complaint is what if I wear it out as a bag and then it gets cold.....what do I do with all the stuff I had on me
I've had one for a month now. Was great while on vacation
One thing you didn’t mention. What do you do with the items in the bag if it gets chilly and need to convert to a hoodie.
Loved seeing two of you James haha
I much more curious about their rain jacket as I live in Seattle... and something like that would be perfect for those random light rains when I'm downtown.
The only issue I see is if you use it as a backpack you can't convert it back to a hoodie to wear because then you wouldn't have a place to put the stuff that was in the backpack.
I was thinking that as well, I think I'll just stick to my sling backpack I can just pickup, and go with no hoodie taking up space.
You don't always want to carry a backpack. Think of this as a hoodie that you don't have to tie around your waist, instead of a backpack that converts into a hoodie.
@@JordanTalmor Well 80% of the year here in SC a hoodie is pointless because it's too warm, so yep gonna stick with my sling bag I can use all year long that has a way better strap, and compartments that don't require me to dig around for 20 minutes to find something at the bottom of the bag, and when I do need a hoodie I'm no out a bag for my stuff.
think it would be good for a short/medium hike, especially if you start in the morning.
Definitely getting this! Amazing thank you!
dunno if a small drawstring bag requiring carrying another bag for stuff if you need a hoodie is worth the money. just stuffing any hoodie in a small drawstring bag you had folded in your pocket would work as well.
i dont see its use as a "real" backpack, but rather a pouch you can carry on the back for additional clothes. stuff a sweater in there and a cap, maybe gloves and you have a prep for cold weather.
It seems like it's more of a way to easily carry your hoodie when you get hot rather than a functional backpack. What happens to your stuff when you get cold? Also the straps don't look very comfortable. I think overall I'd rather have a lightweight jacket and a daypack.
Where you gonna put the stuff if you wanna use the hoodie in the middle of your trip?
Looks to me like you wouldn't need to flip the sleeves inside out when converting. Could make it a bit quicker to convert.
I really like this product but what happens when you store it with a bunch of water and stuff in the backpack and you get cold and you want to turn it into your sweater what are you supposed to do with all the stuff that was in the backpack
That intro was pretty smooth, loved it
Ok, so, it looks pretty cool. But the reason you would need it is because you are out walking/hiking and it starts raining or gets cold. So what do you do with all your stuff when you want to turn your pack into a coat?
