Heyyy👀this is Nutsa, reception from Envoy Hostel😁I’m sooo happy watching my guests enjoying their time in my country, means a lot! Looking forward to your next vlogs😁❤️🫶🏻
Girl you got so scammed by the taxi, what a shame! From Tbilisi airport to the city centre it would've been 35 lari at most. It's really sad they do this to foreigners. Next time make sure to use an application like bolt for taxi. It works in many European countries anyway and you get fair rates unless it's super busy. Besides that, glad you enjoyed your visit!
Love that you love hostels! I’ve incorporated hostels in my travels for over 2 decades and I don’t plan to stop-- easy to get to know the culture and myself within said culture--and travel culture!😅
I moved to Georgia and absolutely love it here (actually moved back after living here a couple of years ago). It's been such an inspiring place for my art. ❤️🇬🇪. If you come back to Tbilisi, let me know! I can take you to some good restaurants! 😁 Also, sorry you got scammed. Never use taxis there, only use Bolt. Only costs about $6 to get from the airport to downtown.
I would like to travel across the globe but I couldn't start this journey due to expensive world. However, one of my Australian friend who recommended me about work Packers and created an account there. But I think if any traveller would like to travel across the globe being best friend. I want to be her best escort if anyone want but need to be trusted... So what about your interest?
Tbilisi is the best city I've lived in, for a long period of time. Georgians are really accepting, and there's a grear ex pat community here. Looking forward to the wine tasting video next. 😊
I spent 3 weeks in Georgia in 2016 and had the best time. Mestia, kutaisi, quzbegi.. climbed a glacier, felt like the bus in the mountains was destined to end at the bottom.. 👀😆 Really looking forward to the rest of this series and the memories it’ll bring up!
I really enjoyed watching this. It brought back a lot of good memories of traveling in Spain. It looks beautiful there and I'm glad you made some friends to enjoy your time with! Thank you for sharing.
more georgia videos pleaseeee!!! i loooove georgian food! what type of carabiners are those? i need some for my upcoming trip to scotland to hang my hiking boots. all the ones i'm seeing on amazon don't seem heavy duty enough
I finally installed a currency converter app so I can also peg the strength of the USD against the currency of the country I'm in daily, so handy. It's been set to Mexican pesos for a while now because I am moving to San Miguel de Allende in three days. Yay! Home base for further Mexico travel. Cheers fellow travelers! Also fyi flying to Hawaii and then on to Japan from MEX is pretty affordable - totally different than flying from northeast, worth a look!
omggg im so happy🥰❤️welcome to Georgia , have been following you for 2 years 😁❤️🥰 , im excited like a kid😂🎉🎉 Hope you enjoy everything and definitely pay visit to Batumi and mountains of Adjara ☀️❤
Wow, agreed Georgia looks lovely so far! I loved looking at the writing, so curly!😃 Any plans to visit Yerevan, Armenia, in another trip-another jewel of a country to add to your collection! I have heard, that the Armenians are very hospitable!😃 I’d love to see you go there! Thanks for this one though, looking forward to the rest of the trip! Hope that you enjoyed and had your usual fun filled Backpacking experience!☺️kindly, Sharlot🌻✨🧚♂️
Looking forward to watching all this series 😊. I travelled around Georgia in 2019 and loved it! Such a unique country to visit with so much variety, excited to see some of the places I visited and travel vicariously around Georgie again through these vlogs 😊. Random question, do you have any recommendations for bumbags? I know your brand isn’t live with any products atm, I missed out on one of those 😞! But I am in need of a new one for my next trip and you mentioned in your previous videos yours can fit a water bottle, this is goals for an every day small bag! Hope you are loving Georgia, enjoying following your instagram stories and looking forward to the next vlog, have an amazing trip!
Tbilisi looks wonderful and it seems to inexpensive as well! The spa experience reminded me of the Turkish hamam spas which I loved! Definitely adding Georgia to my bucket list. 😍 And I need to get one of those Osmo pocket cameras, they seem so convenient and I always wish I had a smaller vlogging camera that could fit into my bum bag when traveling 😅
So sorry about the taxi scam, but like you said it happens everywhere and you should have checked it beforehand... Anyway, welcome to Georgia, hope you enjoy it!
Absolutely understand. My last time in India, it was very similar. I went by the taxi, paid 3000 rupees. If I would take Uber, it would be 300. Just because I was tired, didn't think about Uber and cought the first taxi neer me. I was really angry on myself as I was thinking I am already an experienced traveller😅
A lot of places accept card! But more local off the beaten track places (more prominent outside the cities) may only take cash. It’s good to have both.
I’ve just bought the Cotopaxi Allpa 28 and plan to travel with it as a personal item. Can I ask how it was travelling with it and did it fit under the plane seat ok?
It did! It’s technically not allowed on many budget airlines but so far I’ve taken 3 flights on budget airlines where it’s been successful taken as a personal item ☺️
Joy of the little costly mistakes, I literally booked a flight last night to my next destination I’ll be taking in a couple days. Sped through it all after booking a fair few flights travelling now and didn’t even realise till I got the confirmation email I selected the wrong month 🙈 £100 down the drain 😂 could of been avoided so easily as well just got complacent ,but o well we move on 😂
...why do you need cash? ... you could have used your credit card or NFC and used Uber or Bolt to get around and yes, most of Taxi drivers are morons (not all ofc).
Not gonna lie, that intro made me think something was wrong with my audio! 😂 Great video!
😂😂
It sounded like she was summoning Baal

Looking forward to the wine tasting video next. 😊
Thank you - I’m going in April - already booked Fabrika before seeing your video - very happy with my choice

So sorry about the taxi scam, but like you said it happens everywhere and you should have checked it beforehand... Anyway, welcome to Georgia, hope you enjoy it!
Hey girl, hope you are well ive been watching your videos for many years and you are the best travel blogger x
Did you fly with Ajet or Peagus? x
So sorry for your inconveniences. That taxi drivers are real scammers. Hope the rest of your journey will be smooth. Can't wait for the next videos
Girl you gotta use Bolt in Georgia. The airport to Vake is £9!
I learnt this very quickly 😂
Great video, I tend to use grab or Uber upon arriving but agree sometimes it’s tiring and you just want to get to your location.
Me too… if I had data or Wi-Fi 😅 they use Bolt in Tblisi!
Georgia is so niceeee ❤❤❤❤ I wish someday I will afford to go there 🎉
Georgia is known for the oldest known wine production at 6000 BCE… Heard it had good wine
I decided to try out new headphones and watch this and those first 5 seconds made me think they were faulty lol thanks for the panic
No prob 😁
So excited to see more of this new backpacking adventure!💗 I was curious though, are you still planning a 2025 group trip to Pakistan?
Absolutely understand. My last time in India, it was very similar. I went by the taxi, paid 3000 rupees. If I would take Uber, it would be 300. Just because I was tired, didn't think about Uber and cought the first taxi neer me. I was really angry on myself as I was thinking I am already an experienced traveller😅
do you do any couchsurfing these days?
Know very little about the country. Surprised how beautiful it is
I’ve been the same!
Ki! Georgian Foods look Good..😊😊😊❤❤❤
Taking notes for my trip! love the vlog! is cash prominent? or do a lot of places take credit cards?
A lot of places accept card! But more local off the beaten track places (more prominent outside the cities) may only take cash. It’s good to have both.
I’ve just bought the Cotopaxi Allpa 28 and plan to travel with it as a personal item. Can I ask how it was travelling with it and did it fit under the plane seat ok?

The only other time I've seen Tbilsi was when a channel called Family Fizz made videos there 5 years ago in 2019.
Oh wow! Hopefully I can bring it back on the map
BRB off to Georgia 😍😍

Why don't you use local esims? Magti sells 20GB for 30 lari, and unlimited for 32 lari? It's more than a 75% cost reduction to what you spent?
Because I have credits with Airalo.. so it doesn’t actually cost me anything 😅
I love your hat! Could you please share a link for it?
Are you there in September?
Hi, how can I contact backpacking bananas? I made an order, haven’t heard back and there is no context number or anything..
Hi Alvaro! So sorry to hear that, my assistant is contactable on hello@backpackingbananas.com
good stuff, but who's the guy pointing out the mosque😍
Georgia on my mind.....
in the intro, I thought SHODAN is talking about an upcoming trip. I was expecting something like: Look at you, hacker...
I have no idea what/who you’re talking about 😅
@@BackpackingBananas nevermind, it's some nerd stuff. The voice sounded like the AI construct from a computer game.
Hi! Christie..😊😊😊❤❤❤
Come to Slovenia Christine 😊😊
No second safety rope on the Air balloon, no thanks!🤣😂
It’s still possible for air balloons to come down without a rope 😅
Thanks for having all the currencies n costs easily translated into many currencies.
You're the best..thx.. keep sharing prices in AUD plsss
The way you pronounce ibis the first time😭😂
I was so thrown off because that’s how my taxi driver pronounced it😂😂
cute dimples
OMG! It’s to much. I used Bolt app and my taxi was 30 lari, 11 US dollar
Now i wanna go to Georgia haha
I feel like it’s going to be a very underrated country!
@@BackpackingBananas looking forward for the next vidz!
omg that intro tho haha
😂 needed it to be dramatic
😍😍😍😍
khinkali should be eaten with hands, not a fork :) (11:04)
Tbilisi on your thumbnail is spelled wrong
christine you started vlogging
Damn right 🥳🥳
So beautiful christianne❤️🌟🔥🔥🔥
60 Pounds a Day for Ur Hostel Rent? Georgia has a high Cost of Living too...😂😂😂
Come to Azerbaijan my friend after Tbilisi
🎉
Am I right we can go from uk for up to a year with no visa plus dont have to buy return ticket in advance please? Thanks for great insight..
I’m not entirely sure of my maximum stay buuut yeh nah they didn’t ask for a return ticket at immigration or anything at all
Yep, you can enter and stay for up to a year with no return ticket, that's what I did. I have a British passport
😯
Its so un-cool that soo many taxidrivers are willing to destroy foreigners impression of their country for short term gains.
It’s not great but at this point, it’s just expected
Girl 😭 you could take taxies for a week for that amount of money.
It’s hurts deeply I know 🥲
Just to let you know It's spelt Tbilisi 💃
Oh you are right! Thanks! I’ll change the title 😅
fork with xinkali
I learned little, I saw nothing
Are you looking for an expert video editor then knock me, please?
...why do you need cash? ... you could have used your credit card or NFC and used Uber or Bolt to get around and yes, most of Taxi drivers are morons (not all ofc).
A lot of establishments in Georgia (my hostel for example!) only take cash. It’s not a completely cashless city yet
As a Georgian, I don’t like Georgia
