I mostly agree with 14. I'm not much younger than hyein (newjeans), yet I know how much pressure the trainees and idols go through. It's not like they were forced to audition, and it's not like they didn't do their research. But if 14 meant producers make the minors do questionable stuff, then I will not agree with that.
At the end of the day, it's just young people wanting to make music and dance, not that deep. And whenever a minor idol wears even something as small as a long cropped top, there will be a controversy happening.
The people will say "omg why is she wearing a crop top she's 15" like what do they expect 15 year olds to wear? Long pants and a long sweater? At my school, the 15 year olds wear literal bras and chav makeup (thick makeup) to school. How is one thing okay and the other isn't?

It's not just sexualisation, it's the constant watch of an idol, any false move would lead to a avalanche of hate coming your way, even for a subtle action. That can be seriously, permanently and mentally damaging especially being teenagers are at a time when we are heavily influenced by our surroundings. Also, being an idol limits options for other future careers if they find out that idol ife is no longer for them.

It's the entertainment industry as a whole that's at fault. If the industry has less serious and life-damaging problems, then I wouldn't see why minors cannot debut.
