amazing. Thanks polaroit for the amazing video. i recently downloaded your pack 2 and is quite impressive. i just cant understand how to use the piano rack. the one that spits out amazing chords using just one note. how can i use it in my chord prog? how can record the full midi chord from it? its sound is amazing, full of textures and depth. using it just for the audio without understanding which chord is playing is workflow i cant fully understand or use for now.... ::(
Half an hour to make a track! this is why we have so much garbage on beatport, not saying this is, but when you bang a track together like lego bricks and not taken time to design your own sounds etc then is it really worth it and is there any integrity in it. Not for me there isn't. It takes me weeks to make a track, playing my own basslines, trying to make new sounds, engineering it, all the processing and so on. I breathe life soul and passion in to my music and that takes time, like rearing a child, i'm not just slapping it together with samples and loops. This is why when a 15 year old comes home from school they can make a track instead of doing their home work. All these loop based clouds, and sample packs just make it like disposable lighter attitude. The music has no longevity about, not memorable no real passion.
You literally use stock sounds, loopclouds, synth plugins and one hits in your tracks. There's little evidence of Audio files you've uploaded of your own creations. As for this track - these guys are showing you that it's possible, not that it's advisable. That's obvious.
@@allseven5177 How would you know what i use? I don't post my tracks here, it's not worth it. Instead i let the three labels i'm signed with do that. And radio shows, like the BBC introducing, to show case my work.So for your info, i do not use stock sounds, i will generally use the wave tables etc to form my own. PLus i play my own bass lines, melody lines, design my arps etc. Or get session players in who are above my skill levels to play what i need. Also i work with very high level vocalits, globally, to create top lines, harmonies, doubles etc. So, the integrity in my work is something i can say is 100% something i've written, produced and played. Not some loop based sample chucked in woth a load of others to come up with some drivel that has a play life 3 days.
@@jonathanoates1972 Well, you have a couple of videos uploaded that are Cubase projects. I only looked after reading your post as I was genuinely interested in hearing your music. If I have the wrong end of the stick, fine, but you're going to have to accept being called out if you make grand statements such as that :)
@@allseven5177 ah i'm fine with being questioned, no problem. But if something is in the public.domain then we all have the right to cast opinion on it. And my opinion on lego block music making is by doing that and using other peoples loops and dragging them into anarrangement and making an entire track with them, is not really worth much integrity and canmot be called your own, because its not. The actual music parts have.come from other artists and therefore all you are is an arrangist. Not a producer or writer. Which i think not many would argue against, no matter wheather or not i have anything uploaded or not?
@@jonathanoates1972 So the videos you have uploaded showing projects that show the use of stock items. Are they not yours? Do you use a real drum kit to create a mere kick for your productions? Re your other points; It's clear you have a bugbear for modern day production techniques but, most "out of the box" DAW producers will, as you most likely know, use stock items like "one hits" such as Kicks, create baselines from synths, draw melodies with piano's, strings (and other instruments) and alter the sound beyond their initial state etc etc, rather than use fully-automated loops. I try to remember that a piano is a piano, a flute a flute and therefore so what if it's pre-recorded by someone else - why waste time? ...actually, the flute is a bad example because you can't replace a good live recording of a real flute with pre-recorded. Also note that music writers don't need to play the instruments to be credited as writing the music (paradoxical) and instrument players barely ever write the music they play, singers barely ever sing words they write themselves. I fear your call for true integrity is one that's lost in an echo chamber.
I didn't realize you could envelope to pitch shift a sample on the grid like that! Taking that into my pocket!
Was für ein großartiges Video! Vielen Dank, dass Ihr euren interessanten Workflow so detailliert mit uns teilt. Danke Danke!
First i click the like button. Now i can watch the video
Very simple construction, yet very organic and beautiful sounding
Very interesting workflow, I'll join! Cheers from amazonia
Love! Exactly how I want my tracks to go like (obviously with my own sound)

The Magix Music Maker makes this automated in 2 minutes. And it sounds way better...lol
