I heard this in a record shop [yes, there were such places], and was immediately beguiled by the singer's curious accent. Had to buy the album '604' simply because of this. Wasn't disappointed. Still not. Great band.
Lol. I wish I had the album! Too bad I'm one of the new generations. I came across Ladytron when I was twelve on Pandora. Been addicted ever since. Lol. I love how electronic it sounds. To me, It reminds me of futuristic settings and places. (Is that just me?) It always fuels my creativity.
Brilliantly done. I think this is superb. I hope Ladytron get to see it, I'm sure they'd approve. 5 stars! I've seen some poor "attempts" on UA-cam on making videos to songs, but this is excellent. Love this song too... it was my first introduction to Ladytron when I saw them play at Sonar in Barcelona a few years ago, they played this and it blew me away.
Brilliant song from a brilliant album! I remember seeing them at Leeds Polytechnic in the early 2000s. Definitely echoes of the "Are You Being Served?" theme tune!! 😆😆
ladytrons music was more playful in those days The music fits so good with this clip that they seem to be made for each other, especially at the end :)
This gritty and real-life portrayal of crime by the venerable Sid Davis scared the Thousand Island dressing out of me. At least the musical accompaniment is groovy.
How was the experience of producing such a nice work of visual art? I am an avid music lover, and I am always curious of how things were done. You should be proud of such amazing work. We need more things like this produced. I am an amateur who likes to film and post videos on various platforms. I always seem to run out of creative ideas, so I get inspired from different artists. As the producer in that point in time, how did you view this piece? How did you view the world? When Bernie Sanders did his series about asking the public on how they viewed the world at the time, it made me inspired to gather up people to be interviewed. Music production is one of my main interests, and I am curious about your life as a producer in the industry.
Well, I thought it was a while back, lol. Great edit. I watched the "So I Took It!" video too. Both are good in my opinion. This song is perfect for this video. It talks about the floor levels of a mall and everything, so you nailed it.

I still love this tune since the 2000's ❤️
Definitely an 'Are You Being Served?' reference, the show and Ladytron are both from the UK!
Shop and grab. No time to get the inside leg measured.

They were wearing flares, they were bound to be trouble. Shame on them, SHAME ON THEM!
Nah, I cut the video together myself. As far as I know there's no proper music video for Paco.

Nice homage to the "Are You Being Served?" theme song! {{{{^_^}}}}
Second floor, children's toys, back to school, mini-pool
Fourth floor, electronic, fake antiques, and lingerie...
Ha! "Fake antiques" lyrics equated to "fakey tits!" It just fit so well with lingerie! That's what I thought all these years until your comment. :)
