The 500KG War Machine gun isn't VFX, it is a completely man-made gun that was constructed over a period of four months using real steel. I never saw such a thing happen for any Indian film. It was Sandeep's vision - #Animal art director #SureshSelvarajan.

The sound mixer has put a hard limiter at exact 0db for which you won't hear any distortion of audio as such, just that the horns being played gives that illusion. The hard limiter (effect in Premiere, will differ in different softwares) won't have allowes the audio level to go beyond 0db. Also in theatrical release a movie's peak audio level is generally kept at -16db, however for cutting out trailers which is basically for mobile and desktop viewing the audio levels are cranked up to the maximum possible in order to utilize the full loudness potential of the phone or laptop speakers, which if kept same as -16db as of theatres one would hardly be able to hear anything.
yes the gun scene look like out of trailer ,it was like golden drizzy type of color grading , a part from whole trailer theme and in last scene when villan and hero fights, it was looking very casual, my pov !! a part from this whole trailer is fire !!
One thing we need to note is that all characters have varying shades of grey to black (not sure about Tripti - she gave off innocence in split second). There seems to be a main industrial villain/gangster related to Anil's business. Ranbir-Bobby appear to be one character. We are our own worst enemies part of teaser alluded to "looking for the devil and finding him within". We know this refers to Ranbir but what if he has an external manifestation of an alter-ego viz. Green Goblin/2Supermans etc. This might explain why Bobby is an internal villain we will see in a physical manifestation. Rashmika dialogue about fighting ghosts in your head was quite an interesting choice. The reason for this could be the abuse/stockholm syndrome you have highlighted in your video. Bobby is looking fire...remember when he posted "Animal ka enemy". In Teaser he is seen chewing something that we all speculated on. But in Trailer Ranbir says " I eat ghosts" - this cannot be random. Anyways I love when trailers get us speculating.

I think he himself did put the gun shot, because you have to imagine in a over three hour movie this gun shot will not be the money shot of the entire movie. Hi bro. I loved your analysis on this like others. But something i would like to disagree on a bit is about what you spoke regarding the clipping of audio levels. Because that's a technical mistake rather than something of breaking the norm. See, an audio track we have on UA-cam is a far inferior version from the surround mix of the film. What's happening here is some improper conversion from surround to stereo was done where the dynamic ranges of the audio levels weren't handled properly which is why you get clipping distortion in the scenes where audio spikes suddenly. This is also seen in the teaser also. Now, hitting 0db is not a problem but distortion due to hitting that threshold is. Songs on streaming are usually mastered to nearly -0.3 to -0.5 db and when done correctly, there won't be any distortion. The songs of the film on UA-cam don't have the clipping artefacts as they done the stereo mix in mind unlike the teasers and trailers which are supposed to downmixed from surround to stereo. Tldr, I don't think it's the director breaking a rule of something technical but rather a minor technical error in sound mix. I had to point out this error as i mix/master songs in stereo and usually we go for LUFS levels rather than db as 0db is the limit in audio levels to be able to store or record in digital format but not an indication of difference in loudness levels. Nevertheless, I absolutely agree that sound was used very well to have that jump scare effect and that is something the director is to be applauded of.

I am not talking about the star or cleanliness thing but the WEIGHT. It would have been quite dangerous for Rk. So instead of a street RK was lying over a matress(those which are used for action) and then the matress was changed with street by vfx.
