    Thanks for taking the time to go thru the hi/lo points of the pistol here. I have my dad's old Crosman bolt-action co2 plinker from the 60's, probably made around the time I was born in '67. It's a right handed model, not sure if they're all like that or if they offer a leftie model. At any rate, it's a .22, and as a kid I thought all pellet guns were .22's, it confused me when a friend showed me a break barrel .177, I was like, 'look at those little pellets, do they make holes in paper, how about pop cans?' Nothing like a .22. It could be a squirrel, rabbit, or turkey gun if the need arose.

    Modding will take you down the rabbit hole! My 1322 has probably 4-5 times the original value in parts to turn it into a carbine. Then there is the 2240 same story turned it into a carbine as well. Most expensive cheap airguns out there!
    I enjoy your videos! Keep it up!!

    I hope your happy now since my bank account is $50 less. 😆 I had several times checked on the 177 caliber & said " No I Don't Need It" so didn't order one. 😂 Now I have one on the way. The 177 suits me because everything else I have is that caliber. But the 22 temptation is strong. Thanks for helping me make up my mind. I think it will come in handy for shooting inside this winter. 👍 🙏 🇺🇸

    Nice review. Thanks.
    I have an older 1377 with the brass bolt. I also put a wider pump arm on it because of my large catchers mitts. I installed a red dot as well. Dead on accurate.

    Definitely looking like the best aspects of the Benjamin mechanisms

    • @erniestoner8266
      @erniestoner8266 2 роки тому

      These are not Benjamins. These were made by Crosman when Benjamin was making theirs. These used to be nearly all steel while Benjamins were brass. Most of these rust before their broken- except the seals failing of course. Sheridans are more close to Benjamins than these early Crosmans

    I just got my Crosman Custom Shop 1322. I have to say if you want a custom Crosman it's the best way to go. If you have the gun, I would mod on! I mod them when they stop working. This is a great platform, you can fix it!

    I have the 1322 and it's a great little shooter...I have used 3 different pellets with the pistol...The Crosman 14.3 gr Piranha, the Ruger 17 gr Superpoint and the H&N 18.21 gr Crow Magnum...Of the 3, the Crosman pellet seems to be the favorite of the pistol and is the hardest hitting...Having the shortest length (and being the lightest) of the three, the air pressure seems to really get behind the pellet...

    I added an aftermarket wider pump handle to mine and it was a great choice. A lot less pinching of fingers. Less pain means better accuracy.

      Hello fella,where did you get better pump handle from? I like the gun but pumping is pain in arse,so I mostly shoot 2240...

      @@ilijabosnjak76 I am pretty sure that it was eBay. The wider handle makes it much nicer. As I remember, it only requires driving out one roll pin and then re-installing it in the new handle. You will love it when you have a more positive and less pinchy grip.

    That Crosman 1322 airgun pistol is more accurate than many target grade airgun pistols that cost much more ! I only use 30 weight non-detergent motor oil to lubricate my Crosman 1322 airgun pistol.

    can you keep a charged and loaded crosman 1322 at the ready by your bed side over night or will it damage the gun?

    • @johndeesmith183
      @johndeesmith183 6 місяців тому +3

      if you're using it as your only self defense weapon , load and pump 4-5 pumps and that shouldn't hurt it for years...

    • @theFormidable1
      @theFormidable1 6 місяців тому +1

      @johndeesmith183 how about 10? I tried leaving it pressurized with 10 pumps but about 50 minutes into it, I'd load a pellet and then shoot out the pressure. It hits hard and penetrates as much as it would if I shot it into a 2×4 after a minute or so of just pumping 10 times, I wanna try and leave it over night, but I'm worried I'm damaging the seals and it'll lose power in maybe a month or so of doing that

    The 1377/1322 thing might just be luck !
    What you get from cheaper airguns is pretty random even with the same model (and same caliber)

    I wonder how thst might work out?

      @WalnutandSteel  Рік тому

      I guess anything is possible. I think the toughest thing to find would be a.25 caliber barrel that only has a 7/16” outside diameter

      @@WalnutandSteel Possibly a barrel liner for re-lining shot out 25-20s. Several places sell them by the inch. Have to look into that.
