No orphan of Kos is criminal, although I wouldn’t say he’s the hardest souls boss, I’d give that honer to radahn, but orphan consistently takes me the most attempts by far out of any other boss on subsequent playthroughs, after 4 playthroughs of every souls game, I can get radahn isshin and Malenia in a few tries but orphan I still haven’t figured out, I’ve never spent less than 15 attempts on him after 4 playthroughs, radahn and isshin took me way more first playthrough but orphan always whoops my ass 10x harder than any other boss on any playthrough after that
Radhan is objectively easier now than he use to be before they nerfed him , it also depends how you are fighting him , you can cheese him pretty badly if you use all your tools at your disposal . In BB you cannot get super OP to the point that you can cheese bosses without doing them properly so Orphan being the hardest boss will remain to be the hardest boss because you still have to be competent at the fight to beat it unlike Radhan if you use summons , shield , bleed weapon you are going to make the boss look like a joke .

This is why ER balance sucks because in order for the game to be challenging you have to nerf yourself . Also where do you draw the line of what is fair and balanced ? This is why I personally find ER overrated because they catered to the casuals too much in order to maximize sales but completely butchered the balance of the game in the process . Will you intentionally nerf yourself in other games for it to be considered not too strong , fair and balanced ? And who will be the judge of what fair and balanced is ? This is why this is on the developers to make it not too op but still challenging if you use all the tools at your disposal and ER failed miserably at that .
i honestly dont get the hype around orphans difficulty? im really new to bloodborne but my first ever time fighting orphan i got him second try. it was probably the ugliest fight in the whole game (24 blood vials used) but i still got him in the end. i only landed one parry and used ludwigs holy blade transformed for most of the fight. im pretty sure bloodborne ng+ is hell though so i expect him to wreck me next run. but if i had to rank him against elden ring bosses, theres probably close to 10 harder just based off of that one playthrough
@ I’ve seen a lot of people overlevel him so maybe your overleveled, and many people use the backstab cheese and steamroll him with a cheesy strategy, you probably shouldn’t be doing any more than 375 a hit with a 2 hand Ludwig blade and probably not any more than 275 with a 1 handed Ludwig blade
Nightmare king Grimm and Margitt are my two favourite bosses of all time, they both are difficult on your first fight against them, but they both are fair and fun
@@ImNattyshe’s hard because she straight up is unfair in some points. Sword Saint is well polished, and when you die it’s your fault. When you die to the last boss of Nine Sols, it just feels unfair. She kind of breaks the game.
Consort radahn has to be the hardest fromsoft boss by far. I’ve beat the 3 on the thumbnail and by far consort radahn took me the longest, but Mike Tyson is a worthy challenger, sans is hard but once you get the pattern it’s doable
@@ImNattya few months ago they nerfed consort pretty hard. His triple slash used to be almost impossible to dodge on mid roll, he did more damage and had way less punish windows and cooldowns on his attacks. He’s still really hard and the changes were probably for the best but for the first 8 months or whatever of the games release he was insane.

And even after the nerf he is still the hardest boss in Elden Ring by a country mile imo. He’s got a gargantuan health bar, utterly absurd DPS in the second phase, and a multitude of combo strings that can close the gap on you in what feels like the blink of an eye. The only two bosses that I would put on his level in terms of difficulty are Absolute Radiance from Hollow Knight and Fatalis from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
You did a great list of bosses, completed myself all of them except iron Mike and two Jabba huts. And I definitely can recommend you to try Sifu, on first playthrough this game just broke me, but the bosses really worth it. And of course I can’t ignore the terraria calamity mod, bosses in this mod will cost you hours, but after defeating them you truly will know what a difficult is.
Love this video! I would definetly recommend Eigong from Nine Sols. I personally didnt find it that hard taking me around 45 minutes for 3 phases but from what I've heard people have spent days on that boss. If you like Sekiro you will definetly enjoy the parry system in Nine Sols. Its a fantastic game and Eigong is my favorite 2D bossfight of all time.
Dude I just finished it yesterday. Such an awesome game. Like hollow knight x sekrio, but the "tao-punk" theme makes it refreshing. The parrying is satisfying and different enough from sekiro to really stand out. And every single boss is so well made and I genuinely had fun with all of them (we don't talk about kanghui tho). Overall easy 9.5/10, half a point off tho bc I always end up comparing every metroidvania I play to hollow knight, which is an 11/10

Maybe it’s just me but I feel like sekiro preps you so well for isshin by the time you get there I didn’t think he was that bad I think it only took like 10 tries. I will say genoricho the first big boss defiantly gave me the toughest time because that’s when you really got to get down the gameplay
The real hardest bosses are found in Japan-only bullet hells and Sans mods. Demi-Fiend from DDD is virtually impossible without a guide. Can't wait to see if these are in part 2 ;)
“Just the opening attack of sans fight eill take you a few tries to understand yourself”, on my first geno run I died 14 times and none of them were on his first phase, and honestly since I’ve now done that fight around 46 times by now, I can say that undyne (Undyne the Undying) is slightly harder than sans.
i was very happy when i beat radahn, he truly tested my wits and patience, and gave me hope to try the also fast-paced bloodborne. also, that fight really made me want to play ds3
I think it would be cool if for a part 2 you would include modded bosses! I know for a fact which one would be at the top (any radiance 3.0, which to this day has never actually been beaten before, or if you only include beaten bosses than any radiance 2.0). really nice video though! excited to see more content in the future
Erlang the Sacred Divinity from Black Myth Wukong and Fatalis from Monster Hunter World: Iceborne are two of the hardest bosses I have fought recently. You should definitely check them out if you make a part 2 to this video. Erlang took me roughly 7 hours and Fatalis kicked my ass for an excruciating 9 hours! However, they are both extremely fun fights despite their immense difficulty
I mean, I have p ranked now on violent and brutal, but I will never forget the 10+ hours I had in p-2 on my first try and I was at sisyphus arena at hour 1 so i spent 9+ hours on him and well over 1000 deaths. Compare that to the 3 hours I spent on malenia and even less time on radahn. Ye at least for me, sisyphus was way harder

You should definitely check out the Kingdom Hearts series, and despite how much people that are from the outside looking in like to meme on the game for its Disney aspects. They genuinely have some of the best and most difficult bosses iv ever played in a video game, even more so than any souls game imo. Especially playing on Critical mode. Sephiroth from Kingdom Hearts 1, Lingering Will from Kingdom Hearts 2 and my god Yozora from Kingdom Hearts 3 literally felt impossible for the first 30 minutes of attempts.
So, i'd say that my picks for the hardest bosses you could've mentioned are: Shredder from Tmnt 2 for Nes Darth Vader's final fight from Super Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back 7-th Force from Alien Soldier With that out of the way I want to mention that the final phase of the final boss from Juanito: Arcade Mayhem is bit bs. Wally Warbles on Expert is much harder than Saltbaker Btw, game called AB Epic has a boss called Alpha Pig & the dude has more than million hp. Egg King from Sonic Rush has one certain very bs attack Mad Hatter from Adventures of Batman & Robin for Sega Genesis seemed pretty hard

In Sekiro for me at least. The hardest boss by far was owl father. And even more so inner owl. Those two bosses put every other boss to shame and made isshin feel like a little tikes playset. Took me 18 hours for owl father to beat. 20 mins to beat isshin
I AGREE!!! I feel crazy that everyone thinks Isshin is brutal but Owl isn’t when I steamrolled Isshin in 30 min and hitlessed Inner Isshin in like 3 hrs but Father Owl took me 2-3 hrs and hitless Inner Owl took like 30+ hrs. Still not as hard as Monster Hunter tho😅
I love Punch Out!!, I always have ever since I was a little kid. I went back to the game yesterday for the first time in years, and beat Tyson first try! The patterns eventually get etched into your brain, I love that fight! Not for the faint of heart, though 🙏
If you do a part 2, you should try: DMC 3, and 5 (Vergil DLC) Nine Sols ULTRAKILL Worldless Armoured Core 6 CrossCode (Son of the Beach specifically) Black Myth Wukong A Hat in Time - Deathwish dlc All these games have bosses that took me over an hour to beat, and have a boss in my top ten all time favourites. Maybe it’ll be the same for you too
See for me he’s one of the easiest. Bullet hell isn’t that bad. You just focus on the plane. Don’t worry about aiming and you’ll get it almost all th time

Personally there are SEVERAL monsters in the monster hunter series that were WAYYYY harder than Consort Radahn or Malenia or even Isshin. Consort Radahn and Isshin each took me about 2 hours of attempts to beat. Fatalis, Primordial Malzeno, Risen Valstrax, and Risen Shagaru Magala each took me 10+ hours of attempts and a LOT more perfection.
Erlang the sacred divinity from wukong black myth, Jin haysbusa from nioh, and yozora from kingdom hearts 3 re:mind are all very hard as well. And let’s not forget father Rodin from bayonetta 2 and bayonetta 3
If you ever make another video like this you should check out Drakengard 3's branch D final boss fight! It's the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of "difficult bosses." Honestly, it's the worst and most grueling fight I've seen in a game without using a guide on UA-cam. Great video tho!

Messmer is a better fight than Consort Radhan ( especially the non nerfed version which I experienced from ng-ng+7 ) , Radhan is obviously the more difficult boss , not sure what the confusion here is ? Also by Gudrun you mean Sigrun right ?

I don’t really see how radahn is fair and malenia isn’t. Waterfowl is difficult to dodge up close, but is at least consistent. Radahn has a bull**** three attack combo that only gives you about a five frame window to dodge the first swing and be able to dodge the second. Additionally, there is an entire light show going on in the background of Radahn’s second phase. I personally think that Radahn is difficult for the wrong reasons, and malenia is overall slightly less difficult but much more fair and fun.
Bosses outside of gaming can also mean anger frustration and pure sadness

Same mate. I killed SSI in like 30 mins, while Guardian Ape and Demon of Hatred took me north of 2 hours.

See for me he’s one of the easiest. Bullet hell isn’t that bad. You just focus on the plane. Don’t worry about aiming and you’ll get it almost all th time

Could you add inner father in part 2? Owl father isn’t as hard as isshin but the inner variant cranks it up to 11 with new mechanics and is more difficult than isshin

Personally there are SEVERAL monsters in the monster hunter series that were WAYYYY harder than Consort Radahn or Malenia or even Isshin. Consort Radahn and Isshin each took me about 2 hours of attempts to beat. Fatalis, Primordial Malzeno, Risen Valstrax, and Risen Shagaru Magala each took me 10+ hours of attempts and a LOT more perfection.
Erlang the sacred divinity from wukong black myth, Jin haysbusa from nioh, and yozora from kingdom hearts 3 re:mind are all very hard as well. And let’s not forget father Rodin from bayonetta 2 and bayonetta 3
You should add yang from Sifu if you make a part two. He is ridiculous, especially on higher difficulties.

It's the first thing that comes to my mind when thinking of "difficult bosses." Honestly, it's the worst and most grueling fight I've seen in a game without using a guide on UA-cam. Great video tho!

I'll still always be so confused with how peopke find messmer challenging lmao, I've played thru Shadow of the erdtree twice now and both times I rlly didn't have much trouble with him, bout 8 tries first time and 3 tries second time

Yeah, mesmer was a joke for me fr, i thought he would be impossible to beat bcz of the infinite rants about him.. took me 3 tries, i found Gaius much more idiot than him, but Gaius was hard in result of his poor hitboxes, his attacks were no that hard at all
Malenia is arguably one of the most challenging but fair bosses you can fight. Personally she's an S tier for me terms fun

I am not tryna look cool or something, but isshin is so easy and becomes a cakewalk once you beat him the first time, a far more difficult boss in sekiro is obviously the demon of hatred

Messmer is a better fight than Consort Radhan ( especially the non nerfed version which I experienced from ng-ng+7 ) , Radhan is obviously the more difficult boss , not sure what the confusion here is ? Also by Gudrun you mean Sigrun right ?

I don’t really see how radahn is fair and malenia isn’t. Waterfowl is difficult to dodge up close, but is at least consistent. Radahn has a bull**** three attack combo that only gives you about a five frame window to dodge the first swing and be able to dodge the second. Additionally, there is an entire light show going on in the background of Radahn’s second phase. I personally think that Radahn is difficult for the wrong reasons, and malenia is overall slightly less difficult but much more fair and fun.
