How to Set up Limit Position Initialize on a Roland TrueVis SG2-640

Hi, when I go to limit initialize I hit return then the cutter separates the I move to the left all the way then I hit return it says detecting but instead of closing the gap it moves back a little to the left and it does not complete

What do I have to do when I am going to manually move the cart, and the printer reports an error for moving?
