I'm familiar with that area, is there a reason why you did not use the green bike lane when you entered the causeway? You don't feel it's safe for cyclists?
@@OurRetiredLife And the spandex crowd calls us cheaters, when they're always riding faster than us. I get called cheater as well and I am riding a small e bike and I'm 70 yrs old. Go figure. Maybe they mean that I'm cheating death?
@@pedrofernandez8729 Ha! We get called cheaters too, they mean we're cheating exercising because our bikes are electric. We don't care, we're out there exploring new areas all the time, and loving it 😊
@@OurRetiredLife But I always pedal, only time I use the throttle is when I ride on the streets and I need to accelerate quickly so I don't become part of some SUV's grill.

It did feel safe, but we felt we were in the way quite often by groups of cyclists that were riding quite fast.
