Standing by the edge of home
Looking through winter’s trees
Warm were the days of long ago
Now all I have is a single flame
My vision is only limited
As I stare into the falling snow
My eyes focus and I wonder
Will I meet my destiny tonight?
I have convinced myself
That the rumors I’ve heard are truthful
And I have waited so long
To set out on this journey tonight
I stand, at peace with myself
Am I just lost in a dream?
I have been lent my true identity
My frozen heart burns with passion
And I step through the gateway of snow…
The frost of the night came so suddenly

The moon turns its head away

Dragging my feet through the thickness of the snow
I watch the final light of the village as it goes
The cold is more than I thought
But I must find Autumn…
