Very nice watch strap 👌 I've been researching how to make different style watch straps, the kind I'd like to make first is a bund style strap and not just a simple plain Jane strap but a nice one with good details, I'm meticulous about details. I'd also like to make a Breitling style leather strap, the kind that uses the deployment buckle and you see on Breitling Navitimers quite often but I haven't seen any videos on how to make one. The one in this video is similar except the deployment style straps have a more squared off end instead of a point. I think Breitling wants something like $400 to $500 for a new one, used ones in good condition go for a couple hundred usually but I don't think it would be that hard to make, just knowing the right kind of leather and how it's finished is probably the hardest part of it, the rest is probably easy peasy.
@@naoufelmilano5007 Sure! There are many suppliers on Etsy, or you also can buy it from Hass directly. www.etsy.com/search?q=zermatt%20leather&ref=search_bar
@@babuhandmade Sorry, I didn’t mean the stitching itself. I meant the size of your stitching pricking iron… Are they 2.85mm or 3mm pricking iron punches for the stitches? Thanks
Your hands are unbelieveably steady! I hope I can gain this technique especially when cutting.
What leather did you use for inner side?
Hi, The padding is made vegetable tanned cow leather, the underside is made of Zermatt calf leather.
Very nice watch strap 👌
