My friend had some of these he got them as a present and he didn’t know what off white was and he hates blue so he gave me a pair of UNUSED off white af1s with the tag now he knows what off white is and how expensive they are so now he wants them back 😂

Nice but not for over retail, the AF1 is probably the least interesting Off White x Nike release in terms of what he's done with the design. The AJ1 was the best IMHO followed closely by Presto original and AM90. If I was lucky enough to win these I'd definitely rock them, sadly haven't won a single Off White x Nike release raffle yet.

I got these from the SNKRS stash in Chicago the other day and I can indeed say they are worth it. Each color of the city's flag is there, with the red zip tie representing the stars, the light blue as the stripes and the white shoelaces for the background of the flag. These shoes ARE worth it! I paid $150 but I would certainly drop at least $1k on them. Also, I think Nike may just keep this one limited to Chicago, since the shoe was designed for his exhibit here.
All my favorite Jordan’s are general releases, the ones he played in. I don’t get caught up in the hype of collabs and shit so there’s no way I would trade/sell 10 pair of shoes to acquire these. No gym shoe is worth 2,000 to me. I only own two pair of Air Force 1s and those are ones I bought recently, the white and blue high top sheeds from the 04 piston champion team and some all white highs to rock with my LeBron lakers jersey, before that I hadn’t even bought a pair of Air Force 1s since 2010.
I copped a pair for retail in Chicago..... took them out of the box expecting to be amazed, and they just didn’t do it.... I don’t see the 2,000 dollar value in them, but it is a nice shoe!
Leather quality on these is A1.... but I can’t justify the current price at all. Deadstock they look incredible but forces just don’t age well like other sneaker models.
I love the shade of blue but I gotta say.... I agree with some other people who've posted here saying that these would sit if these weren't off whites. It just seems kinda plain for an off white design. Love the stitching on the swoosh and the exposed foam lining but that's really it. I would've loved to see more detail within the paneling, maybe another color for some contrast instead of the entire upper/midsole/outsole being that shade of UNC blue. UNC Blue is my favorite color so it's dope but I just think this shoe is missing that sort of iconic deconstructed look of the off white series. It doesn't have that same "depth" as some of the other iconic off white shoes like the jordan 1s, and others from the 10 collection had with the different materials, modified paneling, etc. Even some of the other air force 1s I've seen by virgil look better than these.
This can be easily quantified... MCA dropped less than 6k pairs thus far snd its going for ~2k while travis dropped like 40-60k pairs and are couple hundreds under... if MCAs remaining pairs release, it will go down some more. TS1s are/were way more hyped than MCA easily.
