Thank you for doing this episode. I have a great love of Our Lady of Sorrows. I wrote this prayer of morning offering and consecration to her and I try to pray it every day. Please feel free to use it. Our Lady of Sorrows, on this day I offer you my heart. Your son, Jesus Christ, suffered and died for my sins, and you suffered along with Him through your sinless and immaculate love. Mother, I no longer wish to cause either of you to suffer, but rather to be given to you at the foot of the Cross as a son to love and serve you like Saint John, and to be a chaste guardian of the Immaculate and Sacred Hearts like Saint Joseph. Mother, I am a sinful man. Please intercede for me so that I may stay with you through your seven sorrows, and likewise let me not run from the trials and difficulties in my own life, but bare them as penance for my sins and offer them in reparation to the Immaculate and Sacred Hearts. Pray for me, Mother, that the Lord our God may give me the grace to love and serve you perfectly. Amen.

This episode was so difficult for me to listen to. My father died a little over a week ago. After 4 years of caring for him, I am still in a daze and hardly know what to do with myself. I think the sorrows of Our Lady are so incredibly relatable to anyone who grieves. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

It’s important to remember that there are also the 7 joys of Mary, also known as the Seraphic Rosary used by the Franciscans. Equally important to the 7 sorrows.
In 2018, I was at my son's side as he was going through his last agony...I asked our Holy Mother to stay with me...She indeed was with me...of course, I shed tears...But...I never felt sorrow....I felt peace and thanksgiving...Praise our Lord for giving us His mother for our own!!!

I pray the Seven Sorrows Rosary everyday. I lost 4 babies to miscarriages. Simeon's prophecy is about Mary's charism-revelation. She's the ark and "reveals" Christ. It's sorrowful because to reveal, you must expose what's most precious to you. That's a wonderful meditation especially for mothers, because it's Mary's charism, but it's also the arc of motherhood as a vocation.
Thank you for mentioning the Seven Sorrows Rosary! I also pray that Rosary daily along with the Traditional Rosary. I often offer the 7S Rosary for people that are suffering. I’m really surprised Fr. Pagano or any of the other hosts did not mention the 7S Rosary! That is truly the best way to meditate on Sorrows of Mary. One other sorrow of Mary that I often meditate on that no one mentions is the loss of St. Joseph, her husband. Not only did Mary lose her Son, she also lost her husband!
I love the Blessed Mother. This pod cast is the best. Every one needs to view and pray along with Fr. Rich and the Seven Sorrows of the Mother of Jesus.
years ago, not knowing the story of Mary, Joseph and Jesus missing in the temple for 3 days. I had a car load of girls, friends of my daughters, after their basketball game, I thought one of the girls had my youngest daughter, which was a norm, only to look in my side mirror, see my baby running down the stairs after us, I couldn't stop crying and then to know the whole story of what Mary went through, years later, for 3 days looking for Jesus, and finding Him in the Temple, I cried more, because my thoughts came to me thinking Mary left Jesus, for comfort, but I didn't know and wasn't practicing back then. Oh My Gosh, to this day I feel so bad for even thinking that. Mother Mary forgive me...I ask every time that thought comes to mind

God is Great and His Mercy Endures Forever. I read in a beautiful little booklet on the seven sorrows that many saints had their sufferings mitigated by their love of Jesus. In the case of Our Lord and his mother they suffered, and her suffering as witness to His passion was increased by the extent and quality of her love. My personal belief, as all others fled, she remained and would have taken his place, if possible, to not she Him suffer. 🙏❤🔥🕊

@@jamesajiduah2001 Thank you for identifying which events in the gospel they are. The hosts identified and explained them very well to recommend this meditation for all Christians not only Catholics.
I at least identify the Passion as one and the greatest of her sorrows. Nothing else can be a mom's worst nightmare than her Child tortured to death, though innocent.
You know about the Rosary of Seven Sorrows? It is so touching❣️I pray it after the Devine Mercy Chaplet! It's has been a beloved blessing to understanding Our Lord and Our Blessed Mother their Co-joined Suffering❤ I don't doubt that she felt everything Jesus Did ❤She is the Queen of Martyrs
In the book, The Foot of the Cross, by Fr. Francis Farber, he said the 3 days loss was the worst sorrow, because it was the only sorrow where she wasn’t with him. He also said, Mary’s soul was plunged into darkness for the first time. Her soul was always full of light, wisdom, and knowledge.
Is there any tradition of Mary being the patron of empathy? I have no children but have often felt deep pain for others especially parents with sick children or the death of a child. I find consolation in prayer and always ask Our Mother for assistance.
I've practiced this devotion for a while, had to stop tho. But I was going to make a comment about the escape through the desert there are two things I've realized as well, they had to listen the screams and dispairs of the other mothers screaming for their sons, the escape that means that others are going to perish as collateral damage, and the desert so cold at night can reach freezing point, and I could think that maybe Saint Joseph, was walking the entire time, and maybe no fire should be lighted as could alert authorities. And one final comment, Fr Ripperger said on one of his talks that Our Lady was full of grace so she could feel more intense everything so the suffering of others must have been intense everytime

One thing i noticed was that Mary and Joseph 'paid' the two turtle doves required of the poor. And yet, did they not also offer as sacrifice *THEE* unblemished Lamb?
According to Anne Blessed Catherine Emmerich Mary did the Stations of the Cross. The night Jesus died. She started at Caiaphisi house and ended up near the cross. She kissed the bloody ground he walked on while an angel collected bits of Jesus’s torn flesh that was dropped along the way.
Do we not realize that if Mary would have asked Jesus to come down from the cross He would have done so? He was very obedient to her. His first public miracle was at her request even though He said that it was not yet His time. The wedding feast at Cana. I can’t even begin to imagine how much strength it must have taken for her to not speak up because she knew this had to be accomplished for our salvation.
Thanks for not selling me everything and anything during the episode. I stopped following and watching for a year or 2. Thank you so much. Such a great show when I’m a viewer and not a potential customer.
So, did you watch? We literally read scripture for each and every one. Is this just some stock Protestant comment? It’s a bad look on you buddy. But since you didn’t watch and criticized blindly, here are the verses we read and exactly where this is The Holy Bible: 1) The Prophecy of Simeon (Luke 2: 34-35) 2) The Flight into Egypt (Matthew 2: 13-21) 3) The Loss of Jesus for Three Days (Luke 2: 41-50) 4) The Carrying of the Cross (John 19: 17) 5) The Crucifixion of Jesus (John 19: 18-30) 6) Jesus Taken Down from the Cross (John 19: 39-40) 7) Jesus Laid in the Tomb (John 19: 39-42)

❤❤❤❤❤❤
I pray this with Father Calloway on UA-cam he has St. Joseph in the pray life also as part of the Holy Family they all suffered together..
Surely some of the temple elders who admired the wisdom of the adolescent Jesus participated in his sentencing to death and his crucifixion.
Mary had a broken heart when she could see her son being crucified . That's a horrible thing for a mother To see something like that of their son.

GOD please forgive me
Thanks for not selling me everything and anything during the episode. I stopped following and watching for a year or 2. Thank you so much. Such a great show when I’m a viewer and not a potential customer.
Where in the Holy Bible is any of this found??
So, did you watch? We literally read scripture for each and every one. Is this just some stock Protestant comment? It’s a bad look on you buddy.
But since you didn’t watch and criticized blindly, here are the verses we read and exactly where this is The Holy Bible:
1) The Prophecy of Simeon (Luke 2: 34-35)
2) The Flight into Egypt (Matthew 2: 13-21)
3) The Loss of Jesus for Three Days (Luke 2: 41-50)
4) The Carrying of the Cross (John 19: 17)
5) The Crucifixion of Jesus (John 19: 18-30)
6) Jesus Taken Down from the Cross (John 19: 39-40)
7) Jesus Laid in the Tomb (John 19: 39-42)
Seriously? This is a VIDEO in which the Bible was read to you. What kind of little bus are you on?
The Bible you are using Father leaves out some details such as the disciple Jesus gave His mother to.
Why would God allow Herod to kill Jesus?
Excellent. My testimony is that card of seven Sorrows, shad follows. Yes the creator El Shaddai, rev 12 woman, you cannot look upon gods face so you see mary .
In 1457 ad Juan and the catholic church did not know the terms Elohim and elshadai.
Greek have no capitalization 1500 years ago, which translated to english and let the Bible non-caps.
Honor the Father is really God the "F"ather, the male father. in ten commandments .
You cannot honor your earthly father fully, as your dad is fallible so 100% honor is the father god. Proverbs 1, woman is not wisdom as wisdom is neither male or female. 2nd it is not fully your wife..
Cuz think about it, searching is not quenched and marriage is quenched
So you are not searching fully for Her.
Who is Her. Rev 14, her wrTh of Fornication
El Shaddai is omnipotent .
Elohim is rev 11 whence the angel said come on up hither.
This is Elohim who will not bow to you, and elshaddai is Isaiah 40 eagles mother wings .
Ther is no Rapture as u are Rev 12:11 , not 11:12.
11:12 is two witnesses, not elijah and Moses rather 1 Male 2 female = 3 baby.
The church ladies and gentlemen, are the two witnesses
1/10 city is the church
A whole of mans hands in making false belief.
Rhe Bride is given a garment, not touched luke a wedding dress of royakty.
The beide is not "given" a wedding dress, and u do not see the beide until wedding day in the aisle towards the alter .
You church are nit marring the Bride.
No.
Jesus was and is a virgin.
He was present and El shaddai made him present Jesus must be present to bring to water water, everlasting water .
Jesus Is a Divine mystery not here tho
Elohim and elshaddai are here your creatores
