I've been following Chance from almost the beginning at The Farm and it's been a roller coaster of emotions seeing how Chance had adapted and thrived on The Farm with The Evans, and now.... at his new forever loving home in Queensland. I would love to see each of the other dog's stories shared on The Dodo to show everyone what an amazing family The Evans are with lovingly fostering and adopting 20 dogs plus (and a dingo) whom no-one wanted, but now....they really are living the best lives!! 🙏🏼💖

What a pleasant surprise to find Luke & Chance on The Dodo. I've been a fan of Luke & Sam & their dogs for over 3 years. Luke is a world class dog trainer.
i heard that it was coming and have been keeping a keen eye out for it! i cheered when i saw it on my feed this morning! i'm proud to say i have been watching the farm for a few years as well. its a great channel! 💜
Luke and Sam are very special people. Their love for dogs is amazing. Luke is the most gifted dog trainer I've ever seen. He understands dogs and has the ability to see quickly what each one needs. Watching each dog's journey has been a wonderful experience. My entire family is always excited and happy to see what's happening at The Farm!
@@bobu1024 have not seen the nasty posts you have received but I am so so sorry you did. Our community know how much you love this family. Regards from Tasmania Australia
Any person that fights dogs is truly scum. But it's great that there are people out there doing this type of work and giving animals a second chance. ☮
Amazing is right. One of the dogs Chance came in with is now his BFF and sister Neveah living their best life in Queensland with their new mom Chris who has a channel, neveahwilson and you can see how happy they are. 💙🐶🩷
Have a look what he did for Shadow the Staffy mama. She was trained to kill other dogs; Luke was heartbroken when he realised. She is happy, barks at the birds and the Mothers Day video with her and her two pups ( Miss Red with auto immune issues, Miss Violet, started life walking around in circles due to poor vision and barely any hearing) the best and sweetest vid🖤❤️💜
Luke and Sam are amazing people. Luke has the most incredible patience and the ability to emotionally connect with all dogs. Chance has an amazing story., but he's not the only one. They have such love and compassion for all animals. Very special people!
That place seems like an AMAZING shelter. I wish we had more shelters with free roam spaces like that here in the United States. They're all kept in individual cages, and maybe get to interact with some friendly dogs once a week.
@lisabelle7553 It's great how they have free roam. Even their "cages" are like a big bedrooms with a bed and arm chairs. They do really great things there.
@@GH5050-SO Luke recognized the fact that these shelter dogs had never known what it was like to live in a regular home. Even when they were adopted, they're misbehavior was more than the new family could handle and they'd just get returned to the shelter. Chance and his 3 fellow rescues were in this boat and the next stop for them was euthanasia. Luke wanted to do everything he could to not only get them adopted, but to make them a welcome, happy, PERMANENT addition to their new families. So he converted a storage garage on the farm into two "apartments" for the dogs. They have real people beds with tables and lamps and chairs with blankets. They have pictures on the walls and pillows to cuddle up with. Their dog dishes are properly placed on the floor - just like they would be in a regular home. (Initially they also had flat screen TV's on the wall over the bed. Don't know what happened with those.) All of it was done to make these dogs the best possible members of their new families as they could be. Luke and Sam are angels here on earth!
Thank you Luke for saving Chance and helping him be the best dog that he is. God sent Chance to you for a very good reason. May God bless you for helping and saving these BEAUTIFUL dogs that been failed by bad humans. You're a GOOD MAN, I applaud you my friend. 2 thumbs up!
That was the plan, to help Chance find his forever home, and he did. I watched the whole year it took and when Luke saluted as Chance ran off with his new sister, I teared up like Luke did. A beautiful story that shows it's not the dogs, it's the people who mistreat them. Have a long happy life Chance, you deserve it. ❤
Such a wonderful story! I followed Chance’s journey from Day 1 at The Farm and watched with keen interest the full transformation of this dog who had been labeled as vicious and needing euthanasia. I was so glad he found his forever home, though most glad he was given a chance to be the dog he wanted to be. ❤❤❤
Dear dodo Luke, Sam and the entire Evans pack should definitely be commended for all the amazing work they do on saving so many pups. Each dog that has come to the farm is a feel good story. I wish you had a special award for this special family.
Luke and Sam are truly angels on earth for animals in need of love, care, understanding and a second chance in life. The Farm is truly a sanctuary in every sense of the word. So happy to see The Dodo shining a much deserved spotlight on these very special people. 💞🐾💞
This is the epitome of the pittie nature - wants to please in whatever way the owner asks. How wonderful the caretaker knew why Chance was like he was. The caretaker who runs this safe haven for dogs is a Kahu - he doesn't own the dogs - he is their guardian, protecter, and steward. Not Australian but want to say - Good on you Mate.
That particular misnomer of calling him a Pittie has been annoying me for some time. Tks for pointing that out & that DNA testing has shown him to be a purebred American Johnson Bulldog.@@gossamerabba
You’re a dead set legend mate. Beaut work with a beautiful if abused puppy. Some owners are such dickheads, but not you, you gave a confused mistreated dog a lovely chance at good dog life. Love your work mate.❤
It's been so much fun to watch Chance (and his sister Navaeh) throughout their journey! Love The Farm and all that Luke and Sam do for their dogs (and a Dingo)
Luke is a special person. Not many would give this dog the time needed to turn him around, knowing that maybe it wouldn't work out. But it did and now he's living the life he was meant to live. The world needs more people like you!!!
Watching Luke, Sam and the Farm pack has been a huge joy for me during the last 3 years. We were all rooting so hard for Chance and are thrilled to see him succeed and start living his best life!
Luke is a phenomenal dog trainer at 'The Farm' in Australia. He has helped many damaged dogs on death row live with dignity and purpose again. He and his wife Sam are simply the best you'll ever see. The Dodo could showcase so many astounding rehabilitation stories from their dedicated work - with Rottweiler, Shepherds, Mastiff, Malinois, Boxers, Bullies, a Dingo and more. It's almost unbelievable what they achieve. It's the best thing you'll see on UA-cam next to The Dodo.
Makes me tear up every time I watch the out comes of the rehabilitation. The Farm, with Luke and Sam is the best place for Chance to change. He is a good boy and has his forever family now. ❤
What about the pit bulls that killed their owners children? They’d owned them for 8 years and they were family pets. There’s story after story of these kinds of dogs killing and injuring people and other dogs. There are bad dogs. It’s dangerous to act like there isn’t
@@kristin4840 There's stories and stories of all kinds of dogs attacking and hurting people, not just Pitties. And a dog being a "Family pet" for 8 years doesn't mean they weren't mistreated. Not to mention that about half a dozen different breeds are reported as "Pit Bulls", artificially inflating their number of attacks. What's dangerous is prejudice and misinformation, which you seem to have swallowed hook line and sinker.
Luke & Sam at The Farm have hearts as big as Australia & deserve The Dodo’s visibility, thanks for spotlighting this truly remarkable family & place for dogs ❤
This was only 3.5 min out of a year of rehab training for our chancyboy. Check out the farm channel and follow his journey. Its amazing. Roscoe the other big male dog that chance fought with is now a high ranking pack member in the Evans 20 dog pack and a big marshmallow. 💙🐶
Chance is just one example of the truly amazing success stories that Luke has had with rescue dogs, and even a wild dingo💙🐾 Check out his canine pack at The Farm (UA-cam channel), so inspiring! These dogs have all had such a tough start in life, but now living their best lives after being rescued and amazing rehab & training from Luke. Thanks Luke & Sam for the wonderful work you do! 🙏🐾
Luke & Sam Evans are outstanding and I’ve been admiring their work via UA-cam for a couple of years! They have saved the lives of so many dogs and shared happiness throughout the world! Chance’s story is beautiful!

I am so happy they were able to turn around those bad behaviours Chance had been taught and give him a 'chance' at life. His life will be so much fun being able to play with other dogs. All dogs need responsible owners!
This man is the only dog trainer I’ve seen on the dodo that I would consider professional. He knows what he’s doing and isn’t out for the views. Good on him.
The only channel anyone needs to watch on their tv:) The Farm - once you start you’re hooked, there are many videos to watch and each one shows you the love and care of Luke and Sam Evans with their animals. A true Australian story with true Australian heroes . 🐾🐾🐾💙💗
Absolutely! He’s honest and is happy to share why and how he does each stage of a dog’s rehab. He’s doing it for his love of dogs, not for ‘likes’. A truly genuine, talented, and very funny guy!🙏💙🐾
I watch a lot of dog rescue videos and I volunteer at a shelter. This is by far the best aggressive dog rescue with the best trainer I've seen. So many dogs don't get adopted because they're labeled. "must be only dog ". This is such an important part of rehabilitation for SO many shelter dogs. I wish we had this wonderful man at our shelter. Dogs are pack animals, and they are not meant to fight with every other dog. It's unnatural. They want to play and be in a pack. I am so happy for Chance, this made me cry tears of joy!!
I think you would enjoy their channel. They have a large pack of dogs each with their own story - 19 dogs (some with special needs, 2 are fosters), 1 dingo, 2 cats that get along great with the dogs, 1 rescued race horse and some goats. They recently fostered a mother cat and her kittens for their local shelter. They also work with this shelter by allowing them to bring the shelter dogs to the farm to run in the paddocks and swim in the dam. They are there fairly regularly.
So many laughs and tears of joy to be had on The Farm channel. Luke is amazing in his talent, love, and patience for rehabilitating these extreme cases. Combine that with his amazing wife Sam and their beautiful family, all living together with their large canine pack (inside the house with them), and you can understand why this is such a success. 💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾💙🐾

One of the single most stories that has changed the lives of so many. That one person who gave Chance his Chance to show the beautiful Dog he was, his rescuer Luke and others. The Farm channel is one that I’ve been watching daily for years. Luke and Sam have dedicated their life to help those dogs that are facing being out to sleep, or have physical/ health challenges. I have followed Chance since the first day at the Farm and continue to follow him now at his Furever Home where he is loved so much. Great ending for this wonderful dog who had such a horrible beginning. ❤️❤️❤️
Luke Evans is amazing. Thanks Dodo for sharing him with the world!! Please watch the video of their rescued Rottweiler Freddo. Shadow is such a beautiful and happy girl now. Luke is a miracle worker, and proved all the doubters wrong. Shadow even has a special bond with her daughters now, after they were initially taken away from her for their own protection. The staffy sisters and Shadow are one of my faves on The Farm💙💙💙
I thought I’d always have my heart in my mouth watching Shadow, waiting for Sam to write that she had regressed with a violent attack on a dog or one of the children. It didn’t take long before I totally relaxed. Watching Shadow now is such a joy💖💖💖
Yay you made it Luke and Sam!! Woohoo! Dogs aren't "aggressive". Dogs are either scared, or had their bad behavior rewarded so they think it's good behavior. Some proper training and love could save so many dogs who are mislabeled as "aggressive".
Luke and Sam @ TheAustralian DogFarm never give up on any dog - Chance needed all the patience they could give over - I believe - about a year. And look at him now @ nevaeh wilson - the biggest cuddle bug ever. And so happy with his friend Nevaeh, who he met already when he was with Luke and Sam. A fairy tale ending for both of them!
All because you took the time to be patient with him. Not a lot of people would have done that and it is very commendable. Thank you for saving his life.
They also saved 2 of the other dogs seen in this video . Nevaeh (Boxer-Staffy x) who is seen playing with Chance and now lives with him and a Chihuahua and Rosco (Mastiff) who was fighting with Chance in the video and was rehabed and adopted by Luke and Sam and is loving life at The Farm with all of the other dogs and cats they have fostered/rescued/rehabed/trained. Some are special needs dogs too. They have 20 dogs + 2 cats (who get along with the dogs) + 1 dingo. They also have an open policy that allows the local shelter to bring the shelter dogs out to the farm to let them run in the paddocks and swim in the dam. I think you would enjoy their channel (link in description) as many of us do.
Loved this video!! Luke and Sam, at The Farm, are now socializing/training a dingo that they adopted from a rescue facility. He was taken from his den as a pup and lived with a family (outside). He was rescued but could not be returned to the wild. He is doing very well. He enjoys being in the house and loves the odd spaghetti treat as do all of their 19 dogs. One of the other dogs being trained by Luke is a Dutch Shepherd/Mali. She is quite the handful.

Yes, poor Chance had battle scars to show from his past life😢.
Amazing is right. One of the dogs Chance came in with is now his BFF and sister Neveah living their best life in Queensland with their new mom Chris who has a channel, neveahwilson and you can see how happy they are.

I agree and even has a special bond with a Dingo!!! How awesome and special is that!
I agree with you Lidia, Chance was meant to go to the farm!
Just reading about the salute makes me tear up. Very powerful moment!
Cry of joy that video! 🥹

I love that word "Kahu".. It is so true, he has a special connection with them 😊
He's not a putbull, he's an American Johnson Bulldog to be precise. 😊

Yes Marina Yay!!!
Agree 💯 🥰 🏜 😎 🌞 🌵 👍👋
This is the epitome of "there are no bad dogs, just bad owners" 💚💚 thank you for saving this sweet boy! 💚💚
Spot on!! These angels gave Chance the life he deserved ❤️
Bad isn’t the word I’d use.
Kudos to this man to give Chance a peace.

Amazing rehab story. Thanks so much to Luke and Sam. Congratulations on making it to The Dodo channel
Dogs aren't "aggressive". Dogs are either scared, or had their bad behavior rewarded so they think it's good behavior. Some proper training and love could save so many dogs who are mislabeled as "aggressive".

Agree!!! And if you watch what Luke and Sam did, they did just that!
So happy to see Chance and Luke here!!!!
