This Movie will go down as One of The Most Underrated DC films honestly. Despite what it does In Box Office or In the Ratings from Critics/reviews. I still think this was one of The Better and a Solid Follow up DCEU Movie
I just watched it and I really really enjoyed it. It was funny, heartfelt and action packed. It's such a shame that it's not in line to do great business but I really hope word of mouth helps it out.
I loved Shazam 2 The Fury of the Gods and it's a good underrated movie, Zachary Levi as Captain Marvel (or Shazam) is perfect ⚡❤⚡ I hope the box office improves soon or later 🙏
What an underrated movie...This movie in another level.. Imma big fans of marvel but.. This movie pretty much better than any latest marvel series and movies...
When I seen the bullies bully Freddy, I was like “ you two are a bunch of traitors, I can’t wait until the Daughter Of Atlas snap you two in half “ 😂😂😂
I watched it on march 16th, I've been thinking about it since, watching reviews and all, and I'm gonna say, I do like Shazam 2, with all its flaws. I had a good time, I laughed and the action is good!
I feel so bad for everyone involved in this movie. Some movies, you can just feel how much fun people were having on set, and having Zach Levy being super happy to be Shazam and always hyping up all the people around him must have been something really special. Then comes the cold shower of the critics ratings and the abysmal box-office. That's got to hurt them all ! Just look at how frantically they're all in damage control. Zach Levy only got out of his suicidal mood only a few years ago, I really hope this doesn't send him back down in that spiral. We don't want a second Robin Williams situation. If this comment ever reaches you, guys, know that none of it is your fault. Your movie just came out right in the middle of a perfect storm (after the announcement of the DC reboot, after the mid-MCU phase 4, compounded by Quantumania's big flop, after whatever the Rock did to pull Black Adam from Shazam)... This movie is a pure product of love and passion and any person who've watched it can feel it. Know that none of you are to blame for its box-office failure (if anything, I got the feeling the movie is gonna crush it on streaming platforms), and please keep the love of making movies intact in your life and keep moving forward. You're all amazing, I had a blast watching all your performances and lovely banter during your interviews on press tours all over the world, we can feel all of you are literally a family, and I really wish to see you all together, still laughing and having a great time onscreen some other day.
2:02 is the plot 😅 Seriously, it is a decent movie. I enjoyed my 2 hours in the theater. My comment is that, Billy seems more mature than when he is transformed as Shazam. Kinda weird. Also, if the movie got a little serious when sh*t was going down, (not BvS serious) it would have been better.
I saw an interview with Asher where he talks about how his personality changes when he transforms because he doesn't have to worry about his shit life when he's a superhero
I know films and arts can be subjective, but yeah it kinda does slightly ruins the scene if they keep adding comedy on serious fights, but we also have to admit that comedic relief is part of human nature, and that's okay.
What's important is they got paid. Underperforming in the box office maybe WB's fault. There was no hype on this movie until around two weeks before release. Also a victim of the coming reset of DC movies. I think it deflated the interest for DC's 2023 releases.

Blame the Box Office to the shutdown of Black Adam and Henry Cavill
I AGREE
Definitely agree!!

I LOVE you, Helen ♥️♥️❤️❤️
I loved it. I was just curious about why the lightning bolt symbol on the Shazam suit is not lit up in a lot of scenes.
🖤 Helen 🖤
9:50, Dijimon has a beard fluffer!
I loved it
Morbius really outsold Midzam 😂😂😂
This made me love the movie even more. It had so much heart and it was emotional. Also Rachel Zegler is so pretty
Yessss she is
nice!
The movie was great actually, sadly box office numbers aren't high
God I can’t wait to get my big break in acting 🤓

I always thought that when you transform into someone with powers, your personality changes as well.

@@johnmacloyd5800 For Billy Batson, it's the other way around haha
Is a very good film
I feel bad for the people making this film, thinking it's going to be good at the box office.

Asher was barely part of it he probably had less than 10 minutes on this he should have gotten more
I just came here to see if they really slam people to cardboard behind the scenes
All the comments here enjoying it are the minority. $65m Global on a $125m budget is not a good look.
it be lucky to get to 150m total
it could be a "sleeper hit" you never know
Cant believe they got rid of Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck for this garbage
Their number was up when BvS didnt break 1b, and then JL did less (ironically if WBros allowed Synder to make JL2 now it'd probably break 1b easy)
i heard this is the last film they will reboot the dceu
Shazam 2 is terrible
