    You are a craftsman. I find it very relaxing to watch you. You don’t get frazzled about anything. I started collecting Corgis when I was 8 years old in 1965. My frost model was the pale yellow Aston Martin. Now 100 models later......

    Hi Bob, Your restorations NEVER cease to "AMAZE" me.
    Your chrome-work & detailed painting of lights, etc.is AWESOME!!!!
    This ( finished ) Mercedes Pullman is nothing but "PERFECT"!!!! I LOVE the color.
    Your paintwork is exceptional. I'd never believe you use a spray-can. Your restos ALWAYS look air-brushed.
    I can't wait to see your next project. THANKS for "ALL" you do.
    Kindest regards, Ben

      DUYGU KAYHAN IS A SKANK Thanks again mate, yes I prefer using the spray can approach they go quite a long way and no having to clean out spray guns and stuff afterwards! Also I’ve no room for a compressor to operate airbrush equipment in the size of my shed anyway, you soon get the idea how to use the cans properly for a great finish after the practice I’ve had 👍😄

    It's a very good video and very well done restoration but I would recommend you getting either a small Dremel Stone or something like a a little grinder wheel to get the burrs off which will help you in the past in the future we all want it

    what a job to take apart and put back but worth it the car now looks fantastic don't think I would want to tackle that great job you done there

    I had one of those! age about 9, same colour too. I had no conception of the intricacies inside until now. (I think the manufacturer put the underside transparency in to show off the intricacies...but I still didn't notice.) Moving wipers was the big novelty of that one. Had Corgi kept up those innovations, kids would've needed a driver's licence to buy a model.

    Love your honest no nonsense approach. Your humility shines through, you make a small mistake in putting it back together, yet you are not fazed you just redo it. Others would edit that out the final video. Your application of your knowledge and calm methodology helps others to undertake this for themselves. Great work Bob. P.s. You forget a touch of silver on the door handles.

    Another beautiful restoration, Bob! I like your videos, as you take the time to explain the steps involved. The assembly line workers had to have incredible patience. Right now I'm working on a Land Rover pickup and Mini Police van. Cheers!

    Nice one. Maybe a micro fibre cloth on the desk to rest the new paint job on it when re assembling the car to avoid any scratches etc? Ive got on similar to this, same size with opening doors but Im not sure if it is a dinky or maybe spot on?

    Just re-watching this & think the clear cover over the wiper gear is for protection. Sold as a toy, they didn't want kids getting their fingers or skin trapped in the mechanism

      Derrick Roe Thanks mate, yeah the colour is called Ford Electric Current Red (Pearl) and I’ve also used it for the Monte Carlo Rover car.

    Hi Bob. I couldnt find a chromed base for this when I checked Flowers site. The 1st one I did had a missing section on a front wheel arch. I had to replace the whole car to get an intact one. On both of mine the steering wheel was flopping around inside the cabin

    You need a better microphone.

    • @BobWilliscorgi
      @BobWilliscorgi  5 років тому +1

      John Parisi Sorry but I only use an iPhone for my filming and use a plug in mic, so if sometimes it’s a bit quieter it’s because I’ve forgotten to plug in the microphone! You could always turn the volume up mate 😉👍
      I ain’t made of money and spend what I can on parts or models to restore for the channel so I gotta stick with the old iPhone 5 for making the videos as I don’t earn any money out of them!

    • @MeanJohnDean
      @MeanJohnDean 5 років тому

      @@BobWilliscorgi Bob, I'm Sixty-three and haven't worked in fifteen years. So if you wanna talk about no money I bet I win. I recently went deaf in my left ear so even though my volume is all the way up the quality of the recording has an effect on what I can hear. Better Mic means ease of listening.

    • @BobWilliscorgi
      @BobWilliscorgi  5 років тому

      I’m only 5 years younger than you and I have a constant whistling in my ears so most probably that’s why I didn’t realise I needed a new mic 🎙😄
