I always wanted to do an April fools what if of Island where its a purposely terrible what if on would happen if a bunch of the communities really weird ships cannon. Might do that next year if I do start posting my own what ifs but I'm a tad scared of looking up a whole bunch of weird ship fanart to find them. Curious of anyone else has heard of any I could put other then Noah x Cody which...certainly exists for some reason.

Ugh, I hate this ship! I usually am not a hater but instead I am more of "I don’t care" type when I am not into a ship but MK x Julia is literally the worst one I have ever experienced. Season 1 MK was my favorite contestant placing 1st in my reboot characters list, but once season 2 came out, her friendship with Julia caused her to fall down because of how out of character it’s start was. MK and Julia in season 1 were enemies but in season 2? All it took for season 2 MK to start liking Julia was one bad compliment about Julia respecting MK’s game play. That compliment sounds like that one time in TDWT where Beth had to say something nice about Heather. Season 1 MK would point it out and make joke about it putting Julia even lower in social status of the team, I know because when Emma was suportive and nice to season 1 MK, season 1 MK did just shoved it off to make a joke. Not to mention Emma and MK were on way better terms then MK and Julia so it made no sense for MK to become friends with Julia after one half compliment that sounds as forced as most season 2 events and eliminations. Another reason why I hate this ship is because of how i feel about characters, as i said season 1 MK was my favorite in reboot, meanwhile Julia was fighting between Millie and Bowie for last place. I remember describing characters of reboot to my friends and for Julia i said "writers found a way to go from annoying social media influencer stereotype to even more annoying Heather’s cheep copy who only gets far thanks to forced plot armor and being unrealisticly buffed in challenges of episodes that she was in danger in". Their friendship only existence to make Julia get far in the game which wasn’t nesecary because she already was a villian in season 1 and a bad one at that, so it would make more sense to get new villian instead of reusing terible character. Only person who saved Julia from becoming the worst character in reboot in my opinion was Millie who I hate even more. Yes season 2 Julia is worse then Bowie in my opinion! Which is sentence that in season 1 I was unsure I will ever say. I swear if they will make MK x Julia cannon, MK will fall from being my 8th favorite reboot character (friendship with Julia made her fall 7 places) to being around my least favorites reboot characters. So I hope they will bring back season 1 MK and they will cut off MK and Julia forced friendship. I miss season 1 MK so freaking much… 😢
You have the right to dislike it all you want, but most of your points don't really make sense or aren't well explained. -MK and Julia were enemies in Season 1 Enemies? They had a bit of a conflict for an episode, but nothing too serious. Julia's dislike for MK mainly stemmed from MK's taunting throughout Episode 6 and her campaign to eliminate her. Julia never learns that MK was the one who caused her to lose all of her subscribers (not that it mattered since it ended up benefiting her). Additionally, we never really see what MK thought of Julia at that time. So, while they had a minor conflict, their beef was clearly not that deep. It makes sense why they aren't at each other's throats at the start of the new season and are actually able to respect each other’s moves, especially after an entire year between seasons. Also given that MK was consistantly charactarized as someone who really respects games in season 2, her not holding a grudge against Julia makes perfect sense -Season 1 MK would've laughed at Julia's compliment Season 1 MK never had someone she respected compliment her on her moves, so how can you know she'd react that way? Why would it be out of character if season 1 MK never came across such a thing. Your comparison with how she reacted to Emma's praise is faulty, as both scenes have completely different contexts. With Emma (who she probably doesn't like), MK was frustrated that her team didn't recognize her contribution to the challenge, which led her to make a snarky remark once Emma showed up, not that she'd care about individual plaise, given that she doesn't views positively.

Only person who would make sense to still be friends with someone who got them out would be the most realisticly Zee. About the compliment thing, MK and Emma were more on neutral relationship since only bad from it comes from MK mocking her which wasn’t really that big. Meanwhile as I mentioned. Julia literally robbed MK from chance for a million with "she saw all of you pooping" which let’s be honest, isn’t the most respectful way to get you eliminated.
