I think this would be a good thing to make to keep cards I've received that I want to keep. The box would fit nicely on a bookshelf, and I could make a box for each year (or every five years or so.) I would make a nice way to keep such things without putting them in a shoebox, taking up space elsewhere is a closet. Putting a box like this on a bookshelf would save space in my house and I could decorate it to fit my decor or even make the end of the box to look like a book. I think this is a great idea, and I'm glad you have shared it with us. Of course, your work is very professional also.
Sherry. This is an awesome little box. I have made 2, one each for my oldest grandchildren. They were impressed that I have saved ALL my cards given to me over my life. I’m hoping they too will save the love given to them through the simple gifting of a card, beit Christmas or birthday or valentines etc. love your videos. This is great. All the persons with kids that do Valentine exchanges for parties will love this. Promote it ! I think there great. I will get out my supplies, and make some too. February is a busy month for our family too. I should make my husband one for our 31st wedding anniversary on the 15th. Our second oldest will be 27 on the 9th, our youngest our 4th daughter on the 19th will be 22. I will fill it with some of their favorites candies. The wooden house and this project, reminded me of that paddle. The paddle that would make great walls too. I know you can WOW us with another paddle project.
