- Paul Harris is a husband, father, and the lead singer of ‘The Cleverlys’ - a bluegrass band that is both uber talented, and hilarious. He is also a stand-up comedian and was a part of RESGEN’s most recent marriage event, Date Night Comedy, in early February, 2023.
In this episode of The RESGEN Giving Life Podcast, Tom and Paul visit about handling criticism in a positive way, being fully present when home and what balance looks like when you spend half the year on the road as an entertainer. They also talk about how God showed His faithfulness to Paul and his wife during their long journey of trying to have children and why Paul feels blessed to be an “older dad”.

Great episode but if you find yourself as a host of a talk show (podcast) and you are saying I, me, myself and telling stories about yourself, you’re not doing it right.
Paul is very talented and his type of comedy or sense of humor resonates with me because I am kind of off the wall too. His musical ability and alter ego Dr. Digger with the Cleverlys trio just blows me away. I would really like to hear you more on Bluegrass Junction on XM radio. Keep up the great work and I hope to catch you guys in concert somewhere here in Kentucky or maybe Branson. So glad to hear you are a Christian. Respect level 10 Brother.
Excellent episode. Love that Paul's daughter writes him a joke everyday.
So cool to meet and hear the real Digger Cleverly and to see what a genuine person he is behind his awesome talent. Great interview.
46:00 Big Cleverly fan.... just to mention ....10% of 1st pregnancies are miscarriages .... people don't talk about it... but it's true. My wife an I experienced it too.
So glad to hear from you on Resgen pod cast. My son and I came to see you all at the Lyric in Lexington Ky . A sweet friend introduced your Music to me about 5 years ago and that’s when my husband died. I laughed for the first time. Thank you for being ,,I see you group and they are such great musicians. I had not laughed since Pat went to heaven and I really enjoyed you ban. So Brad my 56 year old son took me to see y’all. I needed to laugh and your band helped me heal. The fact that God is first in you life reminds me of my husband and you family is next. I’m encouraged Thank you.
I've seen the Cleverlys a couple times, and each time Paul stayed around for autographs, pictures, and just to visit. Really nice man!
Yes!!! Chicago was good for you, but Arkansas is in your blood!
I love the Cleverlys! Keep on rollin"!
Good grief Paul what have you done to yourself over the years? What happened to the clean cut cowboy?
Seeing the cleverlys in concert is on my bucket list. This is a great interview.
Paul is both talented and a nice guy. Great interview. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Branson recently.
That Paul Harris is buttery smooth!
