Ceri, you are too hard on yourself! You are an artist - allowed to have messy tubes of paint and occasional bits of paper to go flying. Love watching you work. I learn so much from you. Be nice to Ceri, he is amazing!
I agree. Ceri does too much apologizing and he doesn't owe us any explanations to begin with. Ceri is great as he is, and he makes people happy with his craft. That is good enough.
Ceri…how can I express my delight at the colour combo you’ve created. I love it! And I echo all the delightful comments given to you. Thank you so much for your inspiration! 😊❤
Love the colors and the concept of grid painting! Will definitely try this! A BIG thanks for the shorter videos! Alot of artists create Videos that are 1+ hours and I know people like that. But for me, I don’t have the time and so I save the longer videos but seldom get back to them! So thank you Ceri for the shorter videos…much appreciated!
Beautiful result (as always). I love seeing your process and listening to your thoughts. You are giving a lot of people a nice and quiet time in this hectic world. Thank you for everything you do. Hugs from the Netherlands. Xxx
My bubble wrap stamps are now launched, here’s a chrome link to PM Artist Studio pmartiststudio.com/product/bubble-wrap-three-styles-foam-stamp/ thank you
Completely love this Ceri!! Love it because it's so neat, using tape is the best; you can be messy, then all is forgiven when you lift it. I usually use tape as borders in my art journal and I love the reveal. It seems to contain the chaos!! 😂 thank you, most enjoyable 💚💛🤎
This is definitely a yeeees with me! Genius idea scoring the masking tape ❤ You make the grid idea so appealing. I'm on it with my gouache paint as a trial! 🎉🎉🎉
I love it and really enjoyed watching the process. Also, I like the grid journal idea especially for the colour combo because I think of the challenge as a way to experiment with colors and the journal allows me to look back and see what I liked and what I didn't. Love&hugs to you and Biscuit ❤
I love that you created different sizes of rectangles on this spread. I also love treating the page as a whole and having elements cross over from one rectangle to another. Thank you so much for the inspiration! I think I will even make myself a template similar to yours. Sure will make the prep a lot easier and faster.
❤Absolutely one of my favorite color combos that you have done. This is brilliant! The sketchy line frames truly look fantastic. Thank you, Ceri. Very inspirational and so beautiful.
Love your grids Ceri❤ taking the tape in 45 degrees angle, prevent the tearing more than the heat (also I’m sure you know, glue it first in your cloth)😊
Nice grid pages. Do you ever use blue masking tape. It is created to come off watercolor paper without sticking and works quite well I need to get out my grid notebook today too
Loving the grid journal videos and your stamps & stencils. A shout-out to PM Artist Studio - they have wonderful quality products. Have you considered keeping some of that painted tape you removed? I keep mine on waxed paper for use on a future project.
I really should try the grid journaling. But it would drive me crazy not putting the same color on each square. Which it looks so nice when you don't. ❤ I'm really like that color combo.
Brenda remember there are no rules to art if you wished to put the same colours in each square then do it, I can guarantee they will never end up identical.
It was spectacular seeing the reveal when you pulled of the tape. I really love this peice, it is stunning Ceri 😍Btw, you could have put down the tape on parchmentpaper or something and had gotten really cute arty tape for something else
You can lay your wide masking tape on your cutting mat and cut it to the required width with a blade and ruler. It will still be sticky enough to stick to your paper. BTW you can get 1/4 inch tape from Quilt Shops.
Hi Ceri. I discovered you by happy chance. Really enjoyed watching your process, hearing your thoughts. A question if I may. What paper pad are you working on? Subscription added.
Hi Ceri. I wanted to tell you about Masking Magic that is available through Gina K Designs in the US. It is a light tack strip in 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" strips. Thanks

Excellent project☺
So pretty Ceri

Thank you so much Darcy I’m truly enjoying the freedom of grid journaling .
I like your stencil designs ❤
Thank you! 😊 Susan

I like this grid painting.... lots of ideas to think about. Thx
Just love ❤

It’s a little bit of effort to make a template but in the long run it’s saving me time.
Love how these grids look done! I’m so glad to hear that you are really liking the grids…..I was hoping that would come in time.
Me too
This is lovely Ceri!
Ceri, this looks amazing!
Oh thank you Julie
BEAUTIFUL ❤
Thank you! 😊
Awesome! I wasn’t crazy about these colors, love what you did with them. Was looking like a mess for a few, then you pulled it through.
Thanks so much Sandy
❤❤❤
Such a great idea, I suppose I need to hit the store for some larger stencils. Thanks for sharing your ideas, I really appreciate the inspiration!
Smaller stencils wot, just as well if you’ve got some.
@@CeriGriffiths Indeed ... I found some old ones tucked away. I've also used textured wallpaper samples for applying paint, fun results with that.
I just love these grid pages! So exciting to see how they will come out!
❤Absolutely one of my favorite color combos that you have done. This is brilliant! The sketchy line frames truly look fantastic.
Thank you, Ceri. Very inspirational and so beautiful.
This also is great when using watercolours.
Wonderful result!
Thank you
Hello Ceri, love this idea, can't wait to try it, thanks for sharing.
Love this project! And the "reveal" is so satisfying. Can't wait to try this.
Very nice demonstration with a beautiful result. Merci 😊
My pleasure 😊
Very pretty. I would love to give this a try. However, I am not sure my patience could handle taping out the grid. Lol. Thanks for sharing Ceri.
I don’t normally tape the grid and I’m not sure I will again it was too fiddly.
Fabulous 😍.
Excellent ✨
Very nice Ceri! What a great use of your large roses stencil! And thank you for using my Distress stamp also. Your arty pages look fabulous!
Thank you so much for a great design.

Oh good to know thank you.
Hi, have you tried post-it-tape? That ist low tack, like a post-it and you can get that in different widths... thank you for your inspirations!
Thanks for the tip, I’ve not heard of that.
Hi Ceri. I discovered you by happy chance. Really enjoyed watching your process, hearing your thoughts. A question if I may. What paper pad are you working on?
Subscription added.
It’s a pad I made myself from mixed media paper.
🙋♀️👍💕🇺🇸
Hi Ceri. I wanted to tell you about Masking Magic that is available through Gina K Designs in the US. It is a light tack strip in 1/8", 1/4" and 1/2" strips. Thanks
Thank you Karen I’ll look into it.
Oh! That's why you don't use washi tape! LOL! I watched these out of order.
