Epic video. Deck has some real complex and nasty plays. Urnkight is just an insane card. Deck also looks GORGEOUS irl. Rly enjoyed testing this one with the team :)
I was the bw player you played in round one of RBET. Cool deck! I missplayed pretty badly because of how unfamiliar the cards were AND because I was playing against a legend.
Cute thing about Transport Unit: If you already got your Iron Core, you can discard Iron Core to get another one, just to deckthin so you don't draw into multiples. Sad times if the opponent chains MST though.
Shiba Warrior Taro could be a cool tech in here. beast warrior to reveal for crusader/urknight, tuner that cant be destroyed by battle, can bounce self to the get revealed, and is a rat target.
Tell me I'm mad, but I'm playing gene-wrap werewolf (2000atk, vanilla), Just because it's a decent tempo play, being stringer than Any lvl4, and can match scirocco.
True but they would need to hard draw unifrog or search it with dupe frog since they cannot tribute for subtoad to bring out uni. Does conflict a bit so mask may not be the best option going forward. I made a match replay video yesterday and I did play against frogs and saw mask alot so that is a good example of seeing how it performs.
I tried labbing this deck months ago but I think my main issue was trying to fit in too much non-engine. The field spell makes more sense to me now that you’ve explained it and funny enough ultimate offering was literally something I thought about right before someone shared this video with me. Maybe I skipped it but was there a reason for no sandman??
Sorry another question, If you have Iron Core Specimen Lab and like 2 Koa'kis, can you choose how you resolve it? For example can you pop the 3 koa'kis for 3 searches and then pop the fieldspell?
Are you sure Maximus is ruled the same way as chaos sorc? It doesn't read "Must first be special summoned...". I tried to find a source for the ruling online, but couldn't seem to locate anything relevant. I'm going to start labbing this deck, so I'd appreciate your source for that ruling. Speciman lab is definitely a card I didn't see potential in until hearing your explanation, and urnight has always been a super slept-on card. Surprised to see coldwave missing from your list.
Found on card wiki and it shows what kind of effects that cards are. Card is "Semi-Nomi" which and chaos sorc has the same summoning condition. yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Koa%27ki_Meiru_Maximus
probably omega cope but what do you think about Generation Shift? can trigger Specimen lab on end phase before the Koakis blow themselves up, or you can pop a Koaki before it blows itself up on its own even without the Lab not sure how good it would be as you would want targets for Urknight in the deck but that card came to mind. might be just a worse Legacy of Yata tho
Why no burden of the mighty? It's a card I love in the deck, because all of your Monsters are so big, that burden allows you tò destroy by Battle almost all of the Monsters in the game.
Burden is decent and I have tested it some. I did not think it was the best fit in this build but I can see it working better in other builds potentially.
Why didn't you also play other Koaki Meiru cards? I mean, Negaton Corepanel, Core Blast and Valafar are pretty good, for example. Edit: Wall and Sandman weren't still released unfortunately, but that makes me wonder if this deck could be better in the Tengu Plant Format, especially because of Gravirose.
Corepanel has potential to be a decent side deck card. Core blast has to be built around more for its own build. Valarar would probably work better in a turbo build with trade-ins.
I think injection fairy lily is an insane tech in any deck that plays rat. Cool list these cards have such a dope aesthetic
Glad you're putting in work tuning the deck! Koa'ki Meiru has always been one of my favorite decks.

I like live deck profiles. Showing that you have the deck completed in paper is showing that you believe in the deck idea.
I was looking for a good rocke deck with koa'ki meiru, unfortunately the best cards arent in edison format, beatiful deck man.
Sick deck, the rarities are fire as well 🔥
The funniest thing about this deck is that you will never lose to a random empty jar deck because you can just recur your iron core forever.
Will you be posting an updated deck profile? This is one of my favorite archetypes and I want to give it a try.
Yes I will be sharing updates and new builds on the channel soon!
Amazing deck, hope to see some gameplay in the future!
Posted new video with gameplay 😎
@@hydropumpyu-gi-oh Beautiful, thank you! 🥰
I played rock stun for a bit and sandman wall and guardian were good unfortunately most of them aren’t in Edison format but this looks promising

Yep and can also ditch iron cores to search more for deck this. So not too bad unless you end up drawing more iron cores.
Koa'ki Meiru!
KOA’KI MEIRU BUYOUT! Deck is so pretty!
Shiba Warrior Taro could be a cool tech in here. beast warrior to reveal for crusader/urknight, tuner that cant be destroyed by battle, can bounce self to the get revealed, and is a rat target.
I did mention the card when talking about giant rat

@@francescolofaro8258 im sure it is not terrible but this is more so of a pure build I was going for. There is also not much upside to werewolf.
ngl I feel like if we all start labbing this deck we might find out its pretty good
yeah, if only the monsters didn't self destruct at the end of each turn
Doesn’t mask of restrict not let you even activate Guardian? So your unifrog example is actually not true?

Couldn't you exchange the perma spell which searches iron core for high cost for consistency cards like yata garasu trap/upstart something like that?
Preferably not since then you will not see iron as often. Not seeing iron core makes it hard for your deck to function

Sandman was not out yet. Comes out in the next set called the shining darkness.
@@hydropumpyu-gi-oh fair enough.
Let's see morphtronics next.

@@MicheleRota indeed!
@@hydropumpyu-gi-oh seems veeery interesting!
@@MicheleRota Yep redmd getting back max can be very scary if can get everything to flow right.

Interesting
Can the iron core save more than 1 koaki meiru monster at the same time?
One iron core cannot save more than one km. Km monsters end phase effects resolve separately similar to how lightsworn monsters mill.
With Crusader if you attack into ryko and they pop it, can you use its eff to add it back?
If you have more koaki meiru cards in grave then yes.
No Bergzak?
@@freelancegaming4582 was not out during edison. Was released in the new set The Shining Darkness.
Nice bro
Ey Hydro, are u a koa'ki enthusiastic too? OO:
No core compression is surprising
Considered and tested it. Needing to have 3 cards to make it work is a little clunky.
@@hydropumpyu-gi-oh I guess there ain't really targets you wanna discard in this build either. Have you ever considered a Dark Gaia build?
