I hit him first and they called the police instantly. Charges are dropped, zero record because this happened 10 years ago and after 8 or 10 years they expunge your record.

Speaking from experience me and my brother got into a fist fight over some money. We ended up not speaking to each other for over 5 years because of it. And within those five years he ended up going to prison for 3 of those 5 years. When he got out I didn't have any plans on speaking to him, on the second day the police called my mom I told her they found my brother dead in my dad's truck at a home Depot parking lot. Paramedic said it was of natural causes. I regret everything I never said to him. And it haunts me to this day that I never got a chance to apologize and hug him one last time and tell him that I love him.

He then left pretending like i was the one who started it when i was just defending HIS dad who has a brain tumor and got kicked from his house and lives with me and my grandma
His family went and took advantage of my uncle, they waited until he got very bad health and kicked him from his house, my uncle paid for that house, my stupid cousin used to always go ask him for literally 2 dollars, you can only buy crack with that, every 3 days, the dude picked his 2 dollars and then left, always pretending like he is the victim, when his dad has been though horrible health problems
I have zero love or empathy for the dude, for me is not even family anymore, i legit didnt lose anything when he stopped coming to my house, i dont have any brothers, for me my cousins is the closest to it, but i feel better knowing he is not honestly, i dont owe him anything
