helo can this programme P89v51 microcontroller? I have tried but the 8051 programmer software didnt detect the IC bt the programme write in the IC and no blink were there in Port P1.1. please help
A reset circuit is necessary for the Arduino board to properly send RESET signals to the AT89C52 chip. Without the circuit, it may not reset the AT89C52 chip properly, which prevents it from properly entering the Programming mode.
It is still functional in my PC. Try disconnecting your Arduino and reconnect. Also don't open serial monitor of Arduino. Check the connections and if it still does not work close the programmer and try again👍
1. You can program the 89S52 uC using your arduino. So no need of any expensive programmer. 2. If you build an arduino shield for this you can use the 89S52 uC just like Arduino. Simple plug and play.

I don't think the software supports P89V51. I haven't tried it on any other controllers except 89S52.

Yes, you can use a 12Mhz crystal. But I have read that it will cause issues in serial communication. Not tried it out though.
