I just lost my dad a few hours ago. We made the tough decision to take him off a ventilator after 2 weeks in the hospital and lots of increased illnesses in his earthly body. He was 61 year old. I have been listening to this song for the last 3 days hoping for a miracle. As I sit here crying while I type, I know God had other plans and I try to rejoice knowing he is walking with Jesus and not feeling anymore pain.
My deepest heartfelt condolences Bobi. May your sweet father RIP & you find peace & solace reminiscing on the fond memories you shared knowing know he is with our everlasting Lord & father in heaven. You shall all meet again when our time comes. For now bask in the light of Jesus & walk in your father’s footsteps carrying forward his qualities within you & making this world a better place. Bobi...my father's name was Bob it was Robert he was Bobby when younger. I felt led to share this with you. He passed 12 years ago in May before my bday in June. It was very hard. He was only 52. I sang this song to him while he was in the end of life stage at the hospital. He passed shortly after alone, but not alone because the Lord is always with us and he is with the Lord now. I wanted to comfort you and let you know you will see him again, and I am sure he is very proud of the person you are today walking in your faith. I pray that your heart be comforted with joyful memories of your father, and reassurance in Christ that we never die we just move on in the Lord. He is waiting there for you when it is your time, as my father waits for me. I pray this song always brings you comfort. God bless you. ❤

Back in January of 2012 I had to sign papers to put my mom on life support then I had to sign papers to have her taken off of life support She died of Ovarian Cancer. I praise Mr Jesus Christ she is in. Heaven!!! Then in January of 2013 my lovely sister had to sign papers to put our dad on a ventilator, then she had to sign papers to have him taken off. I praise Jesus Christ that I was in the ICU room when my lovely mom died. My sister was also there , as well.as my parents minster and few friends. I also praise Mr Jesus Christ that I saw my dad in ICU before he died. I praise Mr Jesus Christ that they are in Heaven!!!!! Before our lovely mom died, she woke up and I said to her, " It's ok mom you can go " Then she died and went to Heaven and I hugged her one last time. Then shortly after my dad died, I was in a griefshare support group. It is a work book and a DVD series and it's about 16 weeks long. It is all Christian based!!!I I praise Mr Jesus Christ for the people in that group as well as other small groups I've been in . If anyone is struggle with grief, Mr Jesus Christ wants you to join a griefshare support group. Please go to griefshare.org to find a group in your local area.

I grew up loving 80s metal and 90s grunge. My dad was born again christian and refused to let me listen to "secular" music so the best I got was Third Day. Always thought this dude's voice was pretty great

God, I know that you read all of the messages we post on this site. And so I write this: I love you Lord. You are worthy of my love. You are worthy of my time. Of all my being. You mean the world to me. Thank you for saving me, not just that day in Calvary, but daily. For delivering me from evil and temptation. Bring me closer to you God, cause that's the only place where I feel peace.
I am struggling hard with illness and my hopes are dashed nearly daily. This is so very encouraging and thank you for leaving it here. I nearly always give up and its incredibly heartbreaking. This prayer makes it clear where my thoughts and efforts and hope should be, regardless and my eyes should be on Him, and not on my pain. Again, thank you brother.

Jim Crotty, God completely healed me from an accident in which 2 vertebrae were shattered, 7 disk crushed, and spinal cord damage. After multiple surgeries medicine had done all it could and my kidneys were failing. My days were short and the pain was so intense. I just wanted to die and was planning on taking it into my hands. I feared for my wife and two young children and how it would hurt them. Completely broken I cried out to Jesus with all my heart and was healed that day. Have faith brother! All things work together to the Glory of God and for our good. Just thank Him and trust His plan! I am thankful now for my accident it was what it took for me to truly surrender to The Lord and seek His mercy. If you ever need to talk I am here and will listen and do anything I can to help. I will pray for your faith and healing brother. Joe

I was reading Psalm 36 and these words were given to the psalmist all those years ago, and the music given to another psalmist in our time. What kind of God loves us that much? We can sing a song that was sung all those years ago to the Never-changing Almighty God!

As a young kid I used to listen to all sorts of Christian music. This brings me back to better times. Society takes a toll on ones heart, i've lost a lot of my ways but constantly fighting to be better. God is Good.

Just now I had a small little miracle that made me think about how God is in the details. I was humming this song. And I thought about listening to Christian music so I opened up Pandora. Of all the songs that could randomly play, it was this very song I was humming that played. Our God is very precious and loves us so much to give us even little encouragements like this. His love not only reaches to the heavens, it reaches down to touch us where we are.

I pray God that ALL people will wake up to truth. I pray for anyone who speaks against you or anyone else that they come to know you for the side that is mercy and grace but most of all love because if they don’t and they find themselves standing before you with a wrath that is a Father standing up for His children then I honestly hate it more for them and you than the people they come against and harm because I know better than to defy you in any way, shape, form or fashion because you got my attention at a young age and I’m so glad and I thank you for all that you do in my life. I give God all the Glory for giving me peace strength and grace, I give my life to God going on 10 yrs come this august.please God, most of my life was really sad, growing up with an abusive father the things he did to my family. most of all my mother and all I could do is cry I didn’t understand Why this was happening to us it was a lot but thank God we all survived it all, as I grow older I promise myself I would never let anyone treat me like that and guess what it happen to me by my husband I couldn’t believe he would put his hands on me and his own children this went on for some time. this is when I realize I had to make my plan and ran as fast as I could and that’s what I did. I left with all my children from New York to Arizona 21 yrs ago and never look back. even after I left him we went through a lot too but we never went a day without a warm bed, food to eat and a roof over our head and through it all it made me a stronger person, when I came to Arizona I had a lot of nightmares I didn’t sleep well I would dream my husband found me, and In the dream I was always running from him, I had that dream over and over most nights but after a few yrs I had that dream again he saw me I was running, and out of nowhere two black Angels appeared above me in a bright golden light and they were wearing long white gowns my husband was coming towards me I was so scared that’s when the angels took me up with them it felt so real after that night I never had that dream again. Fast forward in 2010 we were going through a hard time was getting ready to be homeless didn’t had enough money to pay all the rent and no food in the house but we would go walking 40 mins to get to a shelter to eat and back. I was worried didn’t know where to turn. the land lord was angry with us he need all the rent. So 2 days before I give my life to God I told My children we need to find a church this was a Saturday my son Fabian said to me mom! you want to go for a walk I said yes let’s go so we walked like for an hour on our way home not to far from where we live we heard people singing worship song and clapping. they were walking towards us then two guys came up to us and told us about Jesus and if we would like to give our life to Him I said yessss I would i was so excited so we did give our life to Christ on that Saturday August 2010 we attend the potters house Christian church that Sunday service was good. on Monday morning I got up kneel-down bow my head to God on the kitchen floor and prayed and cried out to God, and ask him to please help us we have no where to go we need you father at this time we don’t have all the money for the rent, help us. we owed $900 in rent , So the next day I told Fabian to call the land lord and ask him if he can give us a few more days we don’t have all the money so Fabian called him told him what i said and he said don’t worry just give me $350. I couldn’t believe it we paid that amount that is when I knew that God answered my prayers that day since that day God’s been faithful to us ever since. Glory to God!! As Christians we are in spiritual battle on a daily basis Thank you Jesus !! For my salvation

Many of us enter into that covenant of salvation by grace. But the Matthew 28:18 verse is not only about our salvation; it is also about our every day victory, which adds up to victorious living in Christ. Every day victory is achieved by knowing, believing and understanding the battles that we are enduring daily, regardless if we are passive or active in the battles.

@Greg Normal I recently got engaged and don't speak to other men except my pastor and mutual friends of my fiance and brothers in the Lord that are close to us. I don't believe in giving Satan room to get a foothold in our lives. Too many Christian couples do not guard their hearts or relationships from the enemy.
