- The HIKMICRO TE19C THUNDER is an affordable and extremely versatile thermal imager
that can be used as a riflescope, telescopic sight clip-on adaptor and a spotter. That means
that apart from operating as a very effective gunsight in its own right, it can also be used to
covert a normal telescopic sight to thermal, making it a very effective tool for after-dark
pest control.
Mat Manning gives the lowdown on this remarkable piece of thermal kit, which should
prove very handy to airgun shooters targeting rats and rabbits at night.

Matt, that was an excellent review....short, sweet and to the point. Thanks.
Thanks for the review Matt! New to the channel but love watching all of your videos and reviews! Especially your night time rating ones!! Really appreciate all of the information about IR and thermal optics. Not a huge amount of options stocke in stores here in New Zealand.
Love your work!👍
I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well. With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings. For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance. For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.
1800$ isn't cheap for a bb gun 😂
I need one of these . Great vid !
Like the look of this 👍
Looks a good bit of kit hopefully you will do a hunting video was going to the shooting show but car parking price have forced me to not go
Good review as always...I tried a Pard on my rimfire a few months ago, I gave it back. These things throw out the weight/handling of any rifle too much for me. I will stick with a Cree and red filter. A thousand pounds is a lot of money to pop off a few rats.
Brilliant info, thank you
Andy.
A very nice and compact little unit.
..................always looking forward to your vids! BTW, this piece of gear is not really affordable for the average Joe, I think. Great bit of kit though, greetz from the Netherlands!
£1000 is about as budget as you can get short of a head torch .
Just got a thunder 16 how do you get Picture in Picture mode?
It's great this kit is out there, but a shame in a way you can't get a 'basic version' without being able to take photos, video, WiFi etc
It's basically a digital camera. The features you mentioned are legacy for camera hardware, so nothing to save by intentionally gimping it.
Would be nice to have...
I purchase this items a couple days ago, and i lost my zoom options when i click on the button, with latest sofrware version, i dont know why this happen, can anyone help ?
Strelok doesn't have the reticles for these scopes :(
Hi, in the front clip on version. Do you need to re zero your rifle?
Can this device(Thunder Th 19c) be mounted on a rifle and serve as an optic or is it only mounted using the "clip on" system?
BOTH
Try get that past the wife. She won't believe that you had it ages and just found it at the back of your cabinet !
Can you get these in the states?
Nice bit of kit only a bit too expensive for me hopefully in a few years they might come down in price
Este 🧞 que não aparece tô de 👁️ nó senhor kkkk 💯 like garantido sempre
Witch model is this?
1.2k xD yea right..... ill stick with my pard
I can't ever imagine a time when I would spend more money on a scope than on my gun
1st time i got whiplash was when i was walking by people talking and i heard this
"i need to buy a gun for my scope" sayyyy what ? first time i got to test thermal
done it many times. Most or certainly a lot of people on centre fires scopes are more expensive.
If you want "proper" videos of rats get an ATN Xsight pro 3x14 you can see their whiskers! Pointless filming a blob.1/2 the price and put up with the weight; as rested most of the time-sorry Mat. To Jon use a green filter for rats.I use one in dark corners of the barns in the day time and very few rats run away. Mat may be telling you about my "secret" bait in the near future?
Why would you need to see their whiskers? Also green may work best for you but to assume green is a rat colour is a bit youtube? Shooting at blobs through a thermal wins every time apart from use a rim fire or a .410 as a complete minimum. None of your air gun nonsense.
@@Crsf84 you totally missed the point .If you are filming you want definition. And rats usually ignore green lights. I know cos I shot hundreds before I got a night vision.
How dumb and overpriced dead-weights (1:30) attached on an already expensive fake rifle for over $1,200.00!
That is more than many cars on the roads.
at that value they shouldn’t be on the road. enough scrap cars as it
is.
Poor angelisone you sound like a dead weight
@@christhomas4260 So what year/brand/model/mileages you are currently driving?
Sadlyimage quality looks terrible. And this is with rats how are maybe 20-30m away from you?
Why cant you say something more usefull. HOW far those rats are becourse if its 20m that is just not good enough for me.
