- Everyone has their own revalida story, and so I decided to document my last 12 days before UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery's first ever Online Oral Revalida. I hope you get something from it! :)

Congrats Doc. Edsel.. This vid made me teary eyed, I want to take med but Im afraid.. The process is long and Im not confident if I can take that process. Im now planning to take business ad major in business management but everytime I see anything related to medicine I feel something weird (exitement and eagerness to learn it I guess). Hays I feel lyk Im fully decided to take business ad but everytime I see med I got confused.

Hi Carina! divided kasi ang Oral Revalida into 2 parts. part 1 is meron kang patient and you have to take the history and do your physical exam. From that, you should arrive at a diagnosis. You also have to discuss and defend your diagnosis as well as give your plans for the patient. Second part naman is there is a list of emergency medicine topics and bubunot ang tribe mo from that list, then you have to discuss kung anong nabunot ng tribe mo :) that's pretty much the summary of it! hahaha
@@edselpadolina8063 so basically you need to learn most diseases' patophysio po? And treatment etc... collaborative po ba yung pag dx niyo with ur groupmates?
@@edselpadolina8063 Thanks po sa explain. Nagka group activity kami sa AnaPhysio last year na parang same sa Part 2. Myasthenia Gravis yung nabunot ng group ko then kailangan e explain yung signs and symptoms, lab findings, kung merong treatment, and management. Nagisa kami kasi hindi namin napag aralan ng maayos haha. (Skl)
@@rrven4667 Hi Ryan! sa Revalida, mejo on your own ka na talaga. iba iba kayo ng groupmates mo ng case and di mo na sila kasama. same schedule lang talaga kayo and same tribunals. For clinical case na part, after doing your history and PE, there's also an alloted time to review your case, open books sya (sa case ng online, they gave a list of certain books lang and sources) before you discuss. Sa emergencies naman, pagkabunot mo, (3 tries naman to then choose only 1 from those 3) discuss mo na sya :))
