Duuuude.... you guys need to get rabies shots asap and dont take that lightly. Dont need to get bit to get it either. That raccoon was def not ok it should be afraid of humans and straight up crossed a river and came towards fire to get at you
The raccoon was more than likely sick with distemper or rabies it wouldn't have come into camp unless it's sick!! If anyone was bit go to the ER! Rabies may not show up for 6 years but once you start showing symptoms it's too late. only a few Have survived rabies unless you get Treatment fast. If the dog hasn't had distemper vaccination get him to the vet too.
I was kinda thinking that was weird too. Raccoons are pretty shy animals unless they're sickly.

I've got a kastking sharky 3 live liner it's a spinning reel but really nice I've got it paired with a lamiglas 8' heavy insane inshore they no longer make that rod, but with that setup I'm able to haul in the biggest fish with 0 worries.
