Ranch Fire in California | May 16 updates at 9 a.m.

Crews are gaining control over a vegetation fire in Butte County that originally prompted evacuation orders. The Butte County Sheriff's Office initially issued an evacuation order for residents, but on Wednesday at 9:30 p.m., that order was reduced to an evacuation warning.
