    I would add a CB or GMRS radio... Cell signal in some areas is spotty at best, a good radio will help get in touch with help.

      Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. Love the idea of a CVRGRS radio. We travel with a Garmin in-reach sat communicator for emergency. We should have added that to the conversation.

    Nice list. Viar is a great air compressor. How are you liking the new mics?

      Thank you for watching our video, and we agree 100%, we are loving the new Mike’s, although we did pick up a little wind because we didn’t have the little fuzzy thing on top of our mics outside.

    Rechargeable flashlight from Batteries Plus - it is recharged using USB/USC connection to your computer or USB wall outlet. It's a flashlight with several different lumen settings, it is a bright shop light and it has a solid red or flashing red light and finally it has a magnetic base.

    We have most of that! The cones work as kid barriers too! Just tell them not to cross the cones😅😅
    We have 3 air compressors now...
    We keep a fire extinguisher in the door of the truck for a quicker response, it's small but it might be just enough to get to a bigger one or put a small fire out.
    An infrared thermometer is a great tool for the rig, that way you can verify the temps if the tpms tells you it's high. Also a manual pressure gauge that goes high enough for the truck and trailer, you don't always have the tpms monitor up when checking before or after a trip.
    Great video y'all's!

      Thank you for watching our video and supporting our community. We love the kid barrier! I guess they can also be a slalom course for the kids.

    And we're is your medical bag????? Don't the AF train you in basic lifesaving skills? Mine is filled with everything for most emergencies to include IVs for heat casualties.

      Thanks for watching our video and supporting our channel. We absolutely have a trauma bag in the truck with a tourniquet. I hate to say it, but that wasn’t necessarily learned from the Air Force. That was my years in law-enforcement and understanding what we run across.

    Ratchet straps can be used to get a broken axle up and you out of danger to a safe spot, I also carry a gun and rechargeable flashlight and duck tape with extra fluids

    Great info….. Tries to find the Safe Jack 9 ton kit. I found 6, 8 and 12 ton not a nine. What would you recommend?

    • @VenturesomeCouple
      @VenturesomeCouple  6 місяців тому

      Hey Kevin, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. I misspoke and we have the eight ton. I would recommend that you choose bass on the weight of your trailer. In most cases for travel trailers and fifth wheels the six or eight ton jack is good since you’re only lifting one tire at a time.
