Lodi Dodi was actually a cover of Slick Rick’s La Di Da Di. That was just Snoop paying homage to his favorite rapper. The hook for Hypnotize came from Slick Rick.
The ' It's all because of you, I'm feeling sad and blue...etc' is from a female duo called 'A Taste of Honey' off one of their hit records from the late 70s, early 80s.

30 years strong and this is one of the best albums in that one you can listen to from start to finish every song, the beats, rhymes, bass lines, no skipping songs, his flow style, and that slick rick remake 🔥🔥 Do the murder was the case album next. Last song is Lil Malik from the Group Illegal from Philly with Malik and Jamal. They were very young kids from the 90's.
I hope some young people understand why we who lived at that time have a hard time with rap today. In the 90s, there were a lot of powerful and unique albums. And great and very inspired artists. Frankly I say it myself concerning rap I stopped at the 90s and the beginning of the 2000s.
I wasn't into rap until about 92. The Chronic was ridiculous in how badass it was/is. Doggystyle, just as good. Look up the Doggystyle mixtape on youtube. You will be stoked

Murder was the case was made into a long form video and the version you originally reviewed was from that. They dropped a whole album as a soundtrack to that video...another classic.
On the last song that was one of the twins. The twins was “cold”, but they was bad, little mischievous kids, they never got a chance to put an album out. They rapped on several Death Row projects.

And as previously stated, was removed from all future releases of the album due to a sample issue! But no review/reaction to Doggystyle would truly be complete without hearing & reacting to it also, trust me you won't regret it!
I wasn’t born until the early 2000s but I just love 90s music 😩 like all of these songs are 🔥🔥🔥😍 all the music in the 90s just sound good asf 😭😭😭 but I’m happy I came a cross your channel ❤️❤️❤️
You need to do 'Gz Up Hoes Down' it was part of the original album, then got removed due to samples on the re-release.
Damn it, I wish I could have caught this stream from the beginning. Whole album goes dumb hard. I'm TERRIBLE with remember lyrics, but this one has with me through the years. Every track.
I was in the 6th grade when I first heard this on TAPE! One of my friends had it and we would play it out while we were doing homework lol
Lol I was in the 10th grade
Have you listened to Little Simz? She’s brilliant, old head on young shoulders.
Snoop is my nr.1....GOAT!!! Can't wait for Missionary, first time back with Dre since Doggystyle....
I wasn't into rap until about 92. The Chronic was ridiculous in how badass it was/is. Doggystyle, just as good. Look up the Doggystyle mixtape on youtube. You will be stoked
As a kid growing up I listened to this on cassette, and it's still the best album, those beats...... way ahead of time biatch 😂🎉
Amazing album! You can listen straight through and not skip a song
When the album originally came out there was a track after Pump Pump called "G'z Up Hoes Down" that had to be taken off due to clearance and it was one of the better song on the album. It's up on youtube so make sure to check it out!
It was on the cassette not the cd
@@EffortlessEffervescenceMy Dad has the original CD. Wym
😅😂😂I Like How You Said “Loadi Doadie” And It’s Pronounced “LA DI DA DI!”…😅😂😂😂😅”LOADI DOADI!” And they kept saying it in the song. And at the end,You said..”That Was “LOADI DOADI” by Snoop😅
Bro ! we in the East were in AWE of this album ! This shit was G it was fresh it was top level in every single way !
I'm not the only person to say this , but DoggyStyle and The Chronic forced the EAST COAST to go back to the drawing board FR 🔥
that level of comp was needed in Hip Hop and we never going to see that again 💯
U deserve an award for this one Ahki!!!!!
Aint no fun gets me dancing everytime!!😂 I feel you king 👑💪 also I think that was lil malik on pump pump
