:) I purchased a set of Lodge cast iron skillets six months ago and love them! My parents used to use heavy cast iron when I was growing up, and back in the day I used to bake with them, then for some 30 years I had not, six months ago I "rediscovered" cast iron cooking and fell in love again. :) I think I've done about 30 pizzas in my largest pan, getting the first three of them wrong but the rest turned out perfect. Cast iron is a little bit of work and they take some time to get used to but so worth it! Every time I see something new from Lodge I have to stop myself from buying it, things I'll likely never use but want any way. :) Oh, when I sent Lodge my order I added a note of "thank you" to the employees for working during COVID, even with safety protocols in place they kept up production and managed to get my order filled as quickly as they promised, they went the extra mile to get my pans to me, and they sent some gift items since I was so nice. :) Love these pans, love seeing American companies still manufacturing things!
I’ve been wanting one of those for a few months now. I have several other Lodge cast iron products already🍳🥘. Good stuff. American 🇺🇸 made, if I’m not mistaken. 👍❤
I hate to say this. But Lodge has had some products made overseas, to their specifications. Still good stuff. I am just not sure of their quality of pure iron.
@@chrissewell1608 I was told that the enameled cast iron stock pots were produced in China. However that was a while back. Would double check before ordering anything on line.
I really wish you guys made absolutely everything in the USA that would be awesome. Wanted an USA made enameled cast iron, and I thought whelp lodge it is again and was disappointed to see that it wasn't made in USA. However I do love all your products and I love that they are all mostly made right here.

Pass, doesn’t even resemble the Sportsman Grill so why call it that. I think this new grill is going to make the value of the older ones sky rocket. I wish they kept it close to the traditional model
Hi there! These foods, in small quantities, are just fine to cook in our cookware. But large amounts of very acidic or alkaline foods can break down the seasoning when cooked for extended periods of time. If it removes too much seasoning, simply follow our steps to re-season your cast iron cookware 💛
May have to grab one. See a few upgrades to the older style. Will wait for reviews first

I know there is inflation, but $180 is a bit steep. What appears reasonable? $120. That would be 20% over your last price. Inflation is at 7%.

Can i cook acidic food like a tomato sauce in lodge cast iron skillet or pan? Is it safe?
